DVDs are a bunch of BS!
A lot of hyperbole, and done mostly for laughs, but he makes many good points and I agree with most, if not all, of it.

Re: DVDs are a bunch of BS!
Seems stupid. I don't have many issues with the way DVDs do things. And FUCK YOU, FLIPPER DVDs! I hate that shit. Heaven forbid I drop that bitch. The WS and FS argument I kinda agree. I don't think FS should exist anymore unless that's the format it was filmed in. I kinda like chapters on a TV show. I'm a busy guy it makes it a bit quicker to access what I'd like to finish if I stop watching the show for a while and have to guess where I was if I don't remember. I don't mind the little clamps on some of those DVDs. I don't mind boxes for DVDs. I don't like what the Bond set did..that was stupid. etc etc..

That's the Angry Video Game Nerd and I agree with all of his points in this video.

The stuff that drives me up the wall the most are the unskipable ads, logos and warnings. Seems like Criterion's the only company that makes discs that go straight to the menu without any bullshit.

I loved it.. had me laughing out loud several times.
He was spot on about the run time. Probably one of the most useful bits of info and the most impossible to locate on the packaging (if it's even there).

I'm just glad that MGM figured out how to control the volume on their opening DVD logo, that used to annoy the shit out of me.

This guy is better off sticking to VHS. He probably treats his DVDs like shit and that is why they skip. The only thing i dislike about DVDs are dual sided discs.

Re: DVDs are a bunch of BS!
Well, I didn't see his original post, so I have no idea what he said. All I will say is that DVD's are the best. I have no complaints. Even the complaints that everyone has about dual sided discs or those clasp things are ludicrous. What's the big deal?. Means nothing to me. The clasps are kinda cool in my opinion, and they have never snapped off. I am always amused when people fall all over themselves about these minor things that shouldn't even show up on anybody's radar as an issue or a problem. I just don't get it.
