i picked up both the best buy box and the target exclusive as well. with the sideshow giftcard its like they are paying me to own it since i frequently purchase from them anyway. the bust is quite heavy for its size and good quality you can count on from sideshow. i stopped in my best buy today and they were all sold out of the giftset. all around a hell of a great release on all fronts.

Do you need the store receipt for the rebate on the steelbook? If that's the case, none for me.

yes you need the store receipt. no photocopies.

the store should have given you three register receipts in total - two receipts, one specifically for the mail-in-rebate, plus the mail-in-rebate form.

if you are just missing the mir form, there is a chance someone at the store will be able to give you a handwritten form that can be used as well.

For anyone that is wondering what to get with the $50 GC I found a pretty good Star Wars Book for $50. I had to pay about $8 for shipping but I think it will be worth it. Oddly enough it was priced at $49.99 but they didn't take of the penny from shipping so they might not let you use the GC for shipping. Of course maybe they didn't because it was a penny.

Pretty cool item that isn't several hundred dollars.

The documentary on the making of this film that's on disc two is absolutely wonderful. One of the best, most in-depth "Making-Ofs" I've ever seen.

Yeah, the the making of and the comic documentaries are very good. Hope TDK has something as good.

the mir is $7. you can do the math on that one. and if your store has the steelbook for $25.99, its a dollar cheaper than most

I grabbed the blu-ray earlier in the week, but I just saw the flyer for CVS and it had a promotion where you buy $20 worth of stuff on the front page and you get the single disc iron man for $9.99
Grabbed an extra copy for the $10. Could use it as backup.

I'm a Marvel fan but I've never been an Iron Man fan. Huge RDJ fan since Heart and Souls when I was a youngun, and Downey can not make a bad movie. He just can't.

I agree when you say this is what a comic book movie should be - layered with heart and action and comedy. Just perfect.

The Blu-Ray easter egg is on the regular DVD as well.

On the first disk, click on SPECIAL FEATURES then go all the way down to the MAIN MENU button and hit the left arrow button.

Dang, I just found this by accident. So I then jumped online to share with the rest of the DVDTALK World, but you beat me to the punch.

It is more from Stan Lee and R.D.J.

The easter egg is still not apart of the "Easter Egg" part of DVDTALK.com

Have a good night guys.

Loved IronMan!

what a great documentary and i never watch these, ever. i watched the whole 1h48min of it and it was fantastic. i like when i like the actors and when they have such a love-fest when making something they believe in it is fun to watch the behind the scenes. they enjoyed the hell out of this movie and it shows. fantastic docu!

I can't speak for everyone, but I clip both Proofs of Purchase and the UPC, just to be safe.

Scott, the Iron Man trailer with the Black Sabbath theme song is on the Transformers DVD. You have to go to end of the film credit however you can skip it with the remote. You see a menu with Iron Man trailer plus a couple of Transformers trailers.

Just go to the scene selection select the ending credit then just press the skip button on your remote you should see the menu with three trailers including the Iron Man. You can fast forward when the credit roll to get to the menu but it's much faster with the skip button.
