Hey guys, I'm home from work cause I had some throat surgery, but I noticed that if you put in APRILFOOLS as a coupon code on TNA's site, you are supposed to get 10% off. When I punched in the code, it actually said "Joke's on us, you get 15% off your whole order!"
I ordered Sacrifice 2007, Bloodiest Brawls 2003, and Global Impact. The shipping still destroyed me at 33 dollars, but at least I saved 9 bucks on my order.

They only use Fed-Ex. I wish they could just use US Post. I'm in Canada and they destroy Canadians on shipping. I'm sure I'll have another 25 dollars in brokerage fees and taxes to pay when it gets here too...

That last segment on Raw last night was a fitting end for Ric Flair. What a wonderful segment. I hope it ends up on the DVD unedited. I'm just shocked they didn't fly Eric Bishoff in for the celebration...it would have been great seeing Flair punch him in the mouth.

FedEx is a ton better than the last company they used for shipping. DHL was their previous shipper and did a terrible job. I'll take FedEx for a few more dollars everytime.

As for UT and McMahon, it would have been too out of character for UT to come out on TV, and I think the same goes for McMahon, as well.
So Undertaker wearing his streets on TV at a UFC ppv is ok, but coming out in costume and doing his salute to Flair on TV isn't ok?

Picked up a few other titles I needed yesterday so here's what I'm missing to complete from 2002 to current for ppvs:
King of The Ring 2002
Wrestlemania X8
No Way Out 2002
Royal Rumble 2002
Backlash 2003
Summerslam 2005
Armageddon 2006
Survivor Series 2006
Cyber Sunday 2006
Judgement Day 2006
If anyone has an extra copy or doesn't want their copy anymore shoot me a message. Otherwise it'll be off to ebay to get destroyed by people who refuse to combine shipping.

Also a little notice for fellow Canadians if you live near a Toys R Us keep an eye out in the kids movie racks. I was in there last night and they had a little chunk of WWE titles on a rack filled with Dora the Explorer and god knows what else. However there was maybe 30 dvd's in total with about 10 of them being $1,000,000 Tough Enough but there were a few different ppvs from 06 and 05 and a few other things here's what I picked up:

I'm not sure if it was leftovers from some other promotion or what but can't beat the price

Good News or Bad News to WWE DVD Exclusives Collectors?
Looks like February of this year, another "RARE" WWE DVD Exclusive release was left out by many.
I was inquiring about this from Bestbuy and happen to be re-directed to their marketing department on what really went with the "4 of 4" Exclusive Bestbuy/Genius/TOPPS/WWE Royal Rumble 2008 offer..
Guess What? The said "exclusive" set has an approximate production run of 1000 and was randomly distributed nationwide.

It was that so hard.. and the approach here was that the target market was for those who followed the exclusive offer (which started back in Wrestlemania 23[1/4], SummerSlam 2007[2/4], SurvivorSeries 2007[3/4]). And these Bestbuy Marketing research group (to make the matter confusing and complicated) they also made use of the same SKU#8648813 of the regular Rumble and Bestbuy deliberately "DID NOT INCLUDE IT ON THEIR WEEKLY AD".

If you "still" happen to find one.. Go Freakin Get It!

And, I assume they have a sticker advertising the cards if one is lucky enough to come across one. I tell ya, What exactly is the point of running an exclusive like that. I mean who gains from that kind of thing besides places like ebay. It's just plain stupid.

As for McMahon coming out on live TV, it occurred to me that since he was the one who made the "edict" about Flair's retirement, it would have made little sense for him to come out while RAW was still on the air. I think it was handled perfectly, and UT and McMahon coming out after the show went off the air was the best way to go.

I won a bet against hitman tommy last week and he's going to be buying me No Surrender 2006, so that should finish off TNA PPVs for me! All I need now are a few "best of" collections:
Knockouts
Jeff Hardy
AJ Vol. 2
Abyss
Sting: Return of the Icon
Christian Cage
AMW
3LK

Also, they had a whack of PPVs, going back to 2002. They were all $6.66. ECW One Night Stand 2006 was there with the extra Barely Legal disk. They had a few Insurrection events too. It was a decent sale. I only picked up the Manias, but there was a lot of other stuff.

I've seen about 20 copies of it layin' around at various Best Buys...I think it's ridiculous for myself to buy another copy just to get cards, cause I'm opening it anyway.
