Yeah, definitely a nice little collection, especially since you said you just started. I always get envious when I see anything pre-SummerSlam 2002 (the most recent WWE DVD you can actually pick up the major retailers). The only ones I have are Judgment Day '02 (KOCH), WM X8, Survivor Series '01, Unforgiven '01, SummerSlam '01, and WrestleMania X-7.

not like it really matters, but King of the Ring 2002 is available pre-Summerslam.

That's true, but I haven't seen it anywhere for a couple of years now. I still see SS '02 at Virgin and FYE every now and then.

Nice set. That reminds me, I have the WM23 tin, WM vol. IV, WM21, WM22 and Summerslams 05 and 06 too. I'm selling mine short.

Figured I'd get in on the action and show off my collection a little bit. Nothing exotic just all regular release items.

While I'm happy for those fortunate enough to have been at the Hall of Fame last night, it doesn't look good for the DVD release. The show went 4 1/2 hours and I suspect there will be a lot of editing. I wish they'd release this separately from the WrestleMania set so we could see the entire event.

I don't even recall hearing that his was going to be on the regular dvd set a few pages ago. Might they be saving this for the blu-ray version?

Considering the HOF ceremony has been included on the last three years's of WM dvds, you'd have to make the assumption it's going to be on this year's release, especially when it's 3 discs.

Also, the dvd listed as TBD Superstar Profile DVD (From Class of '08 Hall of Fame) is still available on Amazon for a 4/1 release date, but now they also have a dvd simply listed as Ric Flair scheduled for July 8th.

I hope they don't rush out another set because of his retirement. If they're going to do another collection, they need to really work on it, because there is a LOT to cover.

Just placed this order:

The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment x 2 (one for my brother)
The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin x 2 (one for my brother)
Triple H: King of Kings

The Rock set is perfect timing for my brothers birthday. Been meaning to pick the other two up so I went ahead and ordered them all together.

I got to thinking and what to you is the top 10 most needed WWE released superstar DVDs. Mine would be, some of these will probally never see the light of day.

The British Bulldogs
Sting
Macho Man
Jericho
Owen Hart
Mr Perfect
Kurt Angle
The Big Show
Scott Hall
Kevin Nash

We'll most likely get the hall of fame 2008 and it will be close to complete if not the complete un-edited show. I believe that's been the case for all the previous Hall of fame's. The last 3 HOF (the ones included w/t event release) seem to have been edited to the point where you don't feel like you missed much, if anything at all. And, I believe those events went just as long if not longer then this year's hall show.

If the ending of RAW tonight is not on the WM 24 DVD as an extra or the Ric Flair DVD it will be a CRYING SHAME.

And although it did not happen on TV.......................accoridng to pwinsider.com:

After Raw went off the air, The Undertaker and Vince McMahon came to the ring to pay tribute to Flair. Undertaker got down on one knee before Flair while McMahon raised Flair's arm, then hugged him.

Flair called for his family to return to the ring. He took his coat off, did a strut and dropped an elbow on his coat. Flair thanked everyone, then walked up the aisle shaking hands with everyone as the crowd gave him a standing ovation. Flair got a kiss on the cheek from Stephanie McMahon as he exited.

As Flair got to the top of the ramp, all the wrestlers bowed before Flair.

NOW THAT WOULD BE A FITTING WAY TO END THE FLAIR DVD............or atleast make it an easter egg.

I was wondering why Vince and Undertaker were no shows on RAW but DAMN IT put it on the DVD and reward the WWE DVD fans.

I agree 1000%, That entire farewell address, un-touched w/the mania 24 match needs to be on his next dvd.

I was thinking that the whole time. The entire segment needs to be on the WM 24 DVD. I don't care if they have the battle royal or not, but that segment on RAW needs to be there. As for a new Flair DVD, there's such a wealth to choose from, especially from his last WWE run alone.

As for UT and McMahon, it would have been too out of character for UT to come out on TV, and I think the same goes for McMahon, as well. The only heels that were obviously there were Orton and Edge.

Can't wait for the next Flair DVD...wonder what will be on it.

Not true. I saw Snitsky too and i'm sure there were more. And when HHH asked if there were more wrestlers in the back that wanted to come out, Edge was the first one out with a smile on his face and Orton was wiping tears from his eyes.

Not that i'm saying there's anything wrong with that, heck, I think Orton should've headed to the ring right after Batista. But this is Flair, man. Screw the whole "character" schtick.

(Though, Festus was still dazed and confused. Someone should've rung a bell...)

Snitsky may be a heel, but he talks, and we know he's not exactly a "character." To put The Undertaker out there on TV would just be too much kayfabe-breaking, whereas it's much more acceptable in front of just a live audience.

As for McMahon, he might have just wanted to make it about wrestlers paying tribute to Flair, and not a boss paying tribute. I'm also guessing they didn't give Orton his own entrance because it would have been too much, but having him emerge with the rest of the crowd is kind of like "ok, we get that he's a fan too." Who knows? But clearly, it was definitely thought out who would would come out and when.

Also, wasn't Orton in Evolution too? I didn't really follow wwe in 03 and 04 when they were around.

if anyones interested here are reviews of the 2 new roh retail dvds.
Stars of Honor: http://thecoolkidstable.net/archives/397

Bloodstained Honor: http://thecoolkidstable.net/archives/396
they do match by match commentary, so obviously there are spoilers for those new.

Yeah, Evolution was HHH, Flair, Orton and Batista.

They had more after RAW went off the air including the McMahon family and the Undertaker coming out to celebrate with Flair. And Flair elbow dropping his jacket.
