My wife thought I was nuts for doing it, but oh well. If I hadn't I'm pretty sure I'd never have gotton my hands on a copy of the Triple H That Damn Good dvd. I've yet to see it used anywhere.
I didn't just hit the K-Marts once either...for about a month I was doing that once a week. Then when I noticed their stock was getting thinner and thinner I decided they were most likely not getting more of them in. Plus the gas was costing me a fortune...lol

I went to every K-Mart in the Kansas City area and bought everything I didn't have. At 5 bucks a piece, you can't pass that up.
Last year I picked up a couple of the Bret discs, Superstar Graham, Greatest Managers, Stars of the 80s, the Jake disc and most of the 2005 PPV schedule for $7.97 each (Bret was $12.97).
I wish I knew when the next clearance was.

Hey guys, just joined after seeing this thread.
Basically, I've been collecting WWF/E DVD's for a while now, and I've yet to come across a definitive list of everything the WWF/E released on DVD. So, if anyone is up for it, how about compiling a list of every release, special releases, exclusives, limited editions etc. I know there's some WWF DVD's which were only released in Region 1, exclusive to America, and aren't easy to find over here in England.
If that's a success, compiling a list of other wrestling company DVD lists such as TNA and the original ECW would be cool.

Just to say, Royal Rumble 1988 was never released with the Tagged Classics set, and I have no idea why. Though I know someone who works at Silver Vision, and will be asking them soon.
For those outside of the UK/Europe, these wont be available to you, as they're only officially sold on Silver Visions website and various shops such as HMV. They're all Region 2 double disc set DVD's. No edits are made, they all have their original airings in tact, and the WWF scratch logo is not blurred nor edited, neither is theme music. They make much better viewing than the Anthology sets.

This is the first I've heard about a Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania set...

In the promotional boutiques, multiple lines of WWE items are displayed together, including DVDs, videogames, toys, apparel and posters. Installations will be built around March 25 releases Triple H: The King of Kings, The Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania and No Way Out 2008.

If anything, the scratch logo should be blurred in the UK and Europe and left in for the US releases!

This whole (WWF era) "Tagged Classics not available in the USA" etc etc comes up every so often, and the fact is that they can be easily imported. HMV UK, Amazon UK and the Auction site all ship to the USA and all titles are readily available. I personally import a lot of USA DVDs for my collection and I find that tracking down the exclusives is all part of the fun of collecting. It's far too easy to load by basket on Silvervision and just get the DVDs as and when they are released.

Also, Silver Vision have a 'The Best of RAW & Smackdown' series, exclusively Region 2.

There's more too. See them here:

I read something about they trying Blu-Ray, but is just an unconfirmed rumor.
