Normally it charges you $24.99 more

But if the said release is not a "2day rental" anymore, after 7days just go to the branch where you rented it and let them know you lost it.. normally they charge you $14.99 only

But if you get lucky, some branch do sell excess for $9.99 or below (unfortunaly, the setback here is that some DVD to own is brutally used already)...

Could you post pics of the inside packaging of one of the steel book releases if you have one? I'd just like to see what they look like.

I've got Wrestlemania, but it's not sealed. I actually have a trading thread here: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=522802

Got a question. On the Raw 15th anniversery dvd, the back cover mentions something like.. "the infamous gun episode", the first raw' ect. Are there complete episodes on this set, or are these just segments. it also mentions that the 'this is your life episode' is included too, and i'd like to own that.

It's the segments only. No complete episode of any Raw except for the bonus Wal-Mart exclusive 4th disc that has the complete first episode of RAW.

Look at this regarding WWE 24/7

According to the listings, they're going to start airing Raw and Nitro separately, rather than together in one digital broadcast. They have the Raw for June 9, 1997 listed, but they don't have the WCW Monday Nitro for that night listed on their schedule. According to results from the show, Chris Benoit did a run-in during the main event between Flair/Piper and The Outsiders. If the show is indeed cut, that's probably the reason why. On the heels of the Benoit double murder/suicide, WWE 24/7 hasn't aired any footage of Benoit since July. For a brief time, they were cutting out footage of Nancy "Woman" Benoit from old 1995/1996 ECW broadcasts, but they've started showing her again -- so as long as Benoit isn't with her.
Lame!

I agree that it's lame. I don't think WWE would be so P.C. if they weren't a publically traded company. I think a lot changed after WWE went public.

This may have been answered in one of the historical threads -- a search revealed threads but no relevant posts -- but are any of the Attitude branded DVDs (ie. Three Faces of Foley, Know Your Role) worth owning? I have many of them on tape already and don't know if I should bother upgrading or just cross them off my list.

Similarly, WWE has dumped a couple of other tapes to disc (DX, Andre, a couple of Taker and Austin discs), what is the consensus on those?

Sorry if this is an oft-repeated question. Thanks.

All those VHS - DVD transfers they made are pretty cheap, so you should just pick them up anyways. They're not even close to being as good as other dvds they have put out, but they're still alright to watch once. There was also the Best of the IC Title dvd.

There are two PPVs in those Attitude DVDs: Unforgiven and In your House: Rock Bottom, which are pretty good. I have picked most of them up, since I don't want to deal with VHS anymore and want to have most of my collection on DVD. Many of them are found so cheap, so they are no-brainers.

Playusa have posted out my Stone Cold DVD set and I should receive it either Friday or Saturday. Pretty sweet considering my UK set won't be with me until March.

I was surprised today to find Rebellion 2001 at Walmart in the bargin bin for $5, so i picked it up since that was the only DVD was missing from my 2001 collection, they also had Summerslam 2001 and Survivor Series 2000 (already had those) and looked to me they were US imports and not the Canadian KOCH versions.

Still great to find WWF DVDs, and one more to cross off my list.

That's funny. When I was finding those at K-Mart a few years ago I was seeing a lot of the Koch versions. There you are in Canada finding the US ones...lol
Speaking of WWF dvd's...I was at FYE today and they had used copies of Royal Rumbles 2000 and 2001. RR 2000 used was 20 bucks. I'm glad I bought it long ago.

I'd love to see a King of the Ring set down the road....hopefully sales for all WWE DVD's will warrant more of what fans want...

This reminds me of three years ago. I found and later bought Best of the WWF 2001, Unforgiven/No Mercy/Survivor Series/Vengeance 2001, and WWF Action at a DVD shop in Midtown Manhattan. I picked them up for 12.99 each. One of many wise choices I've made in my life.

I think slowly they will release all their ppvs in Anthology boxsets. Summerslam boxset is coming up in August, and Survivor Series will likely follow early next year, so they would have covered the Big 4.

Then they will likely release the others like King of the Ring, Unforgiven, No Way Out, Judgment Day, etc.

King of the Ring would actually be perfect since there were 10 events, they could easily fit in 2 volumes with the 2006 King of the Ring as a bonus disc.

With WWE probably producing in Blu-ray soon, the Anthologies will likely not take more than 5 discs.

I would love to see WWE release full episodes of RAW/Smackdown in season format but that would be very difficult to release, since theres already over 700 episodes of RAW, i guess they are using WWE 24/7 for that.

I also hope WWE would release older ECW ppvs, like the November to Remember boxset, Heatwave, etc.

The best story I got is that I found Unforgiven 2001, new and sealed for $5 at some DVD in Manhattan. I was thrilled. Nice catch, btw, I wish I had been there.

Back when I was stalking all the K-Marts, I found Summerslams 2000 and 2001, the Lita and Hardy Boyz dvd's, Judgment Day, King Of The Ring , Unforgiven and No Mercy all from 2001, Triple H That Damn Good, Insurrextion & Backlash 2002 and the TLC...all for 5 bucks a piece. I went to every K-Mart in the Kansas City area and bought everything I didn't have. At 5 bucks a piece, you can't pass that up.

Now I know what envy means. I hate you.

J/K, that sounds like an amazing haul. I should check out K-Mart more often.

I did the same thing...That is what basically started my WWE DVD collection.
