Hmm, that list seems to miss out the Ultimate X Collection DVD.

I could swear there were some wrestling figures like that.

Both pictures are taken from my WWE DVD collection. The Ruthless Aggression figures were in a set of 6 all with the same DVD. I decided to get Carlito, and these figures were exclusive to Germany and a few other European countries including Holland.

What was on the DVD?

These are all the mass retail releases, the first hit in October 05, which were the first seven titles on the list. All BUT Lockdown had previously been sold on their website with no bar code. I personally bought the first 3 PPVs & Best of AJ from the website for just over $100 so I'm able to confirm.

For those interested, the titles that were released on TNA's website (and limited other places) and not mass retail are-
-Best of 3LK
-Best of AMW
-Best of Bloodiest Brawls
-Best of NWA TNA Title Matches
-Best of X Division Matches (Original)
-Ultimate X Collection

I'm still waiting for that damn Best of Jarrett to come out!

Just wanted to report on 3 great finds today at 2 of my local FYEs..........at the 1st one I went to I found 2 USED DVDs: Ultimate Warrior 2 Disc and Triple H: The Game.

At the 2nd FYE I found something I was looking for for a while now and that is the TNA TRIPLE THREAT BOX SET SEALED.

I am willing to sell/trade the Ultimate Warrior 2 Disc and Triple H: The Game since I already have them....I picked them up since I know they are rare finds so feel free to PM me if anyone is interested.

According to pwinsider.com, The Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania DVD is going to be released on 3/25 as an exlusive to a retail store. I think its going to be FYE based by what the videobusiness.com report said.
Unfortunately, FYE in midtown manhattan, next to radio city just up' d and closed down. I was there last week at least 3 different times and little by little they started boxing mass sections. I asked them what the deal was and they would only say that the items are being recalled. I hope this isn't the beginning of something bad for FYE. This sucks big time for me as a collector since they carry alot of items that best buy, ccity and other places wouldn't even think of carrying. Not to mention the OOP titles I would find at that midtown store.

And also, those who are collecting TNA DVD's, don't forget the DVD's released when TNA/UWF held some events together.

http://www.rfvideo.com/index.asp?Pag...S&Category=182

I'm not sure how many they did altogether, but most of them are there I think.

Yes, good catch. The TNA-UWF House Shows that were promoted by Hermie Sadler, they're available at the usual online places for dvd's. Someone was selling the complete set of them on ebay a while back, I believe there was a total of 20-30 something.

Personally, if I had some spare money to burn, and an opportunity arose for me to get all of them or most of them at a couple bucks a dvd, then I'd probably jump on it. Otherwise I'm not interested in picking them up, but for the ultimate completest, they do have the TNA Banner on them. We could probably compile a complete list of those house shows on dvd if we really wanted to.

The first show that TNA/UWF did at the ECW Arena is worth going out of your way to check out. Really great show (June 2006)

Yeah, I'm in no rush to buy these, but once it comes to it, i'd like them for collection purposes, as I'm sure some other people would.

I'm halfway through typing up all those which are currently listed at RFvideo, then I'll post it here. If anyone else has any info on these, or any other UWF-TNA events which took place, please let us know!

Just so everyone knows, Ring of Honor sells some of these on their website. That way you're not putting your money in the bank account of a pedophile.

Or you could go to the UWF website and their store (through Highspots)
http://uwf.highspots.com/uwf/index.asp

Or ShopTNARev runs wrestlingflix.com where there's about 20+

For historical purposes I'd also like to get TNA/Border City Wrestling event "International Incident" when AMW turned heel and helped Jarrett win the title from Raven right before they got on Spike TV in 2005.

it seems to be an horror movie starring Rey Mysterio Sr and former Diva Search contestant, Leyla Milani.

Anyone has any idea if the Royal Rumble 2008 dvd that's coming out in a few weeks will be in widescreen that was used for the HD PPV brodcast, or if it'll be the cropped 4:3 SD PPV brodcast?
I sure hope we get 16:9 Widescreen!
Also, any news on the blu ray vs HD-DVD front as far as WWE goes?

I've seen a few used copies of the Blockbuster exclusive PPVs. Does Blockbuster put any stickers on the discs that might damage the disc art if they're removed?

I think WWE will release in Blu-ray.

As for Royal Rumble, they will likely release the Blu-ray in 16:9 and the SD version in 4:3.

Snagged Turning Point 07 today for $16.34 after tax (a whopping 4 days early!!!), and also picked up another Armageddon 07 dvd since I had to return the first one.

I dont believe they put stickers on the discs themselves anymore. Four of mine are ones that were rentals, and none have stickers on the disc. INside the case there's a barcode, but that's it. The stickers on the outside of the case come off with no damage or residue. Grab them while you can, you'll regret it a few years down the road if you don't!

Have a great weekend everyone!
