I heard this was better than Ocean's 12, which was a disappointment to me as well. Since I missed this in the theatre, it will instead be a blind buy.

Yeah, O13 was better. Can't wait to hear the details on the box set. They're supposed to release a new edition of O12 as well and getting O11 in a keep case will be nice.

Don't forget: I heard indirectly from Warner that a new box set featuring a bonus disc with all three movies will be coming out.

That sounds cool! I love the Oceans trilogy.

Yeah, hope that's true. Can't wait to see what the second disc will be for the original (which, IIRC, was already a decent release- save for the snapper case).

I’ll be picking up the Box set with all three movies & the bonus disc. I only have Ocean’s 12 on DVD so I’ll only be double dipping on that movie. I was another who was less than impressed with Ocean’s 12, Ocean’s 11 was excellent. I haven’t seen Ocean’s 13 yet so this is a must buy.

If the WB decides not to do a trilogy set, I’ll just pick up Ocean’s 13 buy itself. Ocean’s 11 is only like $11 now. No snapper case would definitely be great.

What about Extras? Luckily I only rented Ocean's 12 because it was a boring movie, but that DVD had zilch which was shocking considering how packed Ocean's 11 was.

Not for new theatrical releases from WB and Universal. The disc may eventually be released in a non-combo HD DVD.

The con is on: Warner Home Video has announced it will bring the blockbuster 'Ocean's Thirteen' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this Thanksgiving.

The third (and reportedly final) entry in the star-studded caper franchise from director Steven Soderbergh, 'Ocean's Thirteen' will hit both next-gen formats day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version November 13.

Tech specs are not yet available, but supplements are set to include the newly-produced 44-minute making-of documentary "Masters of the Heist," plus two featurettes "Vegas: An Opulent Illusion" and "Jerry Weintraub Walk and Talk."

Retail price is $34.98 for the Blu-ray version, and $39.98 for the HD DVD/DVD combo.

I've heard this one was a lot better than 12, so I'll probably buy it... eventually. I'm waiting for the rumored set that will include all 3 films with a wealth of extras. I can hold off until that's announced, since something tells me it won't be day-and-date with this one.

I'll be holding off until the trilogy is released in HD DVD. Thirteen, which I liked, is my least favorite of all the movies.

Eventual? They're releasing the trilogy on the same day on both formats.

It is much, much better than 12. Personally, I had a very very hard time sitting through the second movie, eventhough I love the first. This movie, while not quit as good as the first, is still really entertaining.

this describes my feelings regarding 13 (and 12 as well) perfectly.

Disappointing that there's no commentary at all. Would've been nice to maybe get some of the supporting actors like Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Eddie Jemison, Scott Caan, etc.

That said, I'm still buying it, lol

Especially on a movie like this. I found the one for Eleven pretty entertaining with Garcia, Pitt and Damon, even if Pitt's was done separately and added in.

I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked Twelve. I admired it for daring to be different. It was less a heist and more of a con movie.
