Thanks, I hadn't noticed that. That Iron Man teaser was cool.

Thanks. I guess I'll just stick with the HD version then.

I picked it up at Costco - thanks Xage! I would've never known it was there. They had about 10, but 9 of them were pretty beat up, and I managed to get the only good one.

I'm kinda pissed off that I was only able to get the Future Shop Decepticon steelbook. I was looking to get the Autobot version too but by the time I got off work, it was all gone. If another fellow Canadian is willing to part with an extra copy at a "decent" price, please send me a PM. Thanks.
I have been following the Future Shop inventory of the Transformers Autobot Steelbook and they had inventory up until Saturday evening (yesterday) from their online store.

There is presently only one eBay auction for this item. The seller is from B.C.
eBay auction

OT: I'm wondering if these steelbooks will be as rare as the 300 steelbook? They are already selling for $93.95 on Amazon.com

I know. I 'm trying my hardest to convince myself that I don't need it, but I have a feeling I do....

You do need it It's probably my favorite exclusive. I think the gift set weighs more than me!

But seriously, it's well worth the money. You won't regret it.

XAGE, but what exactly is it? It looks like the soundtrack, maybe. Just wondering if I'm done running around for exclusives.

It would have been nice if all those steelbooks had been double sided with Auto-Decep.

Better hurry. Only 2 left and they may not replenish their online inventory.

A question for those with the 2-disc set, does it feel pretty definitive in terms of supplements and telling you how the movie was made?

I plan on picking up Transformers eventually, but it's not a real high priority at the moment. I'm wondering if I should get the 2-disc set, or just wait, Netflix this thing and wait to see if there's an announcement for a bigger edition.

This may sound odd but did anyone buy the 1 disc version?
I have the HD-DVD so I just want to get the 1 disc to lend to people and watch at work. I just want to know what sort of packaging it is, they did mention it would come with a slipcase and abit of a digipak.

Thanks XAGE, I'm officially done with Transformers exclusives. Now it's on to Spider-man 3. I already have 3 exclusives in mind.

Question about the Walmart exclusive. Is the single disc movie part of it sealed inside of the box?

I didn't buy the 1-disc, but it does include a slipcover. Underneath is a regular, transparent amaray case. The cover art under the slipcover is completely different from the art on the slipcover, and it is also dual sided with Optimus on one side and Megatron on the other.

It's amazing, Best Buy today still had plenty of their crap Transformers exclusives for sale. I also saw a buch of the Planet Terror steelbooks, at least 15 of them and plenty of Fantastic Four exclusives. Maybe sales for this junk is starting to tank and maybe we can get back to normal.

After reading here, I was hesitant to check out the BB exclusive. So I went steelbook hunting to no avail. Then I tried the WalMart one, but found out it was only with the single disc version. So I decided to go to BB, and happily purchased their exclusive. What no one seems to know (or care about, which is fair enough!) is that the figures in the BB exclusive are the "Robot Heroes", which I got hooked on buying by extension of the Marvel "Superhero Squad" figures. So I think I'm one of the few who are quite happy with them!

It was mentioned here in this thread with pics, but it's buried. Somewhere around page 7, I think. I love the Robot Heroes line but can't spring for another dvd set right now. Hubby needs bike parts. ^^V

Even when I try to keep up with or read all of a thread, when it gets past ten pages it gets a bit more difficult. Who needs exercise when you can plop down on the couch with a DVD?
