SERIOUSLY???

That's it? The parody music video a bunch of guys put on Youtube (We're gonna die as hard as we can!), a short making-of doc and a commentary? Where's the rest of the extra stuff?

I can't believe these studios. You have Bruce Willis himself going on a message board and TELLING people that they shot the movie as an R, and that more violent fighting scenes were filmed. How Fox expects anyone to care when they release this barebones is totally beyond me. It's almost like they WANT to be hated.

I will even go as far to say I will never buy this unless I see an Unrated or R-rated. Everyone let me down with this movie, Bruce Willis proved he only cared about the paycheck with this movie, and Fox only cared about watering it down for the kids.

Count me in, too. No unrated=no sale. With so many good releases these days I can no longer afford to buy something that gets double-dipped 6 moths later. First Simpsons and now this?

Testify, brutha! And having Len Wiseman direct didn't help either...

We know. Thats why we are looking for an r-rated or unrated cut. To go with the other 3 Die Hard movies, all r-rated.

I'm pretty sure this will be offered in an unrated cut. The Blu-ray release will be unrated, so I'd be shocked if Fox didn't release the same on DVD.

I know it was PG-13. My point was studios only release 2 versions, Unrated and the theatrical cut.

In all my years of dvd collecting, I've never heard of a studio releasing a PG-13 theatrical cut and an R-rated cut. But, maybe I'm wrong.

It probably will be the R-rated cut, but it will be called Unrated.

Nevermind, now I am confused....

Are you sure about the Blue-ray being unrated?

if you goto the foxhome website and you see the four die hard films together you will see coverart which list the unrated version for die hard 4. the bluray version that is.. which will probably be the same as the dvd.

Uh, they COULD'VE done a non-anamorphic transfer and priced it at $34.99, like they used to.....

Fox Home Video is the ONE studio that seems to be continually run by a bunch of retards.

No unrated = no sale from me. I'm pretty much in the same boat as everyone else. That's a pretty barebones package but knowing fox they are probably going to release a 2-disc "yippie ka ya motherf&*^er" edition.

I'm sure this will be the unrated cut, but have those saying 'they were let down by the rating' etc. even seen the movie? While I'd rather have the unrated cut (and I'm sure that's what's coming out), the movie still rocked.
