One-disc for me -- I'm tired of these outrageously-priced 2-disc version that are full of (mostly) bloated extras. Bring back the days of the 2-disc versions ONLY.

I just got back from Super Target, and I picked up the 3-Disc Widescreen Deluxe Edition. Looks like they had several left. I was also surprised to see that they had around 15 copies of Transformers: 2-Disc transforming case. I had already purchased the 2-Disc version at Best Buy, on release date. I wish that next week wasn't such a huge week of DVD releases for me, because I would have gone ahead and bought the transforming case, and eventually sell the regular 2-Disc version. However, next week has me picking up three DVD releases, on top of Super Mario Galaxy coming out the week after that.

Too bad money doesn't really grow on trees!

I was looking at KMart's ad online and they have a free interactive cd-rom with the purchase of Spider-Man 3 if anyone is interested.

Anybody that got the walmart exclusive two pack know if the one disc is still sealed inside of the two pack shrinkwrap?

Picked up the 3-discer with the Papa John's $3 off coupon.

Was going to get the red mask at Best Buy, but then I saw how they had packaged it. Select slipcases were modified to include the mask, thus making it a permanent attachment. No, thank you. Was happy to go with the normal case, and added the Spider-Man 3 trick-or-treat bag.

I did not like any of the region 1 releases... SO I went with the Region2 Amazon Exclusive with the killer coverart.

Returned my Best Buy version and got the Target 3 disc set today. Thankfully they had plenty left to go around.

Very nice! I've always loved that image. In fact, I had that image as a wallpaper on my laptop before and during the release of the movie. I guess since I have such a high-res version of that image, I could make my own custom cover. However, since I have the Target 3-Disc, it would likely stay hidden inside that slipcover.

And as an aside, it's pretty awesome how the 3 disc edition still has the slipcover.

Those giftsets are pretty cool. How limited are they?

I also raised the same question to the store manager where I bought it at however he has no clue and told me that they special ordered it from the corporate office the time I pre-ordered it a couple of weeks ago.

purchased the 3-disc at target yesterday. was hesitant to get the movie at all during release week seeing as i was disappointed when i watched it in theaters. but getting the cool slipcase and nice production notes booklet PLUS the slipcover for the same price as buying just the regular 2-disc elsewhere, i thought why not?

watched the movie again last night and actually found myself enjoying it more than when i first saw it. i was glad for that.

my spidey trilogy looks a bit off on my shelf though. single amaray case for 1, got that thick deluxe collector's edition for 2, and then a slightly thicker slipcase spine for 3. but the collection is complete (until 4, that is...) and i'm happy.
