Does anyone have any cover art or match listings for the Triumph & Tragedy of World Class coming out next Tuesday?

It's coming out 9/18

The cover art is in the new wwe magazine, with triple h on the cover. It's in the fall 2007 catalog section.

Amazon had changed the date from September to August 7th on their site.

Seemed like alot of sites were mysteriously changing the date from the original 9/18 date wwe.com had to 8/7, places like walmart, fye and amazon, but it now seems like it's back on for 9/18. Walmart has it back to the 9/18 date.

I just saw Judgement Day and Vengence at the local Blockbuster for 19.99...are these going for anything since they are the 2 disc exclusives?

Got this off nodq.com

Release Date Pushed Back, August 5, 2007
By Dwight Brown (Chicago, IL United States)

It has just come to my attention that WWE has decided not to release this DVD (World Class Championship Wrestling) until December 6, 2007. As we all know, the mainsteam media has been focusing their attention on the large amount of unfortunate tragedies that have occured in pro wrestling over the years and this DVD will be partially about some of those tragedies. WWE feels that it wouldn't be appropriate to release this DVD at this time. Not only due to the media coverage but also following the Benoit Family Tragedy that occured in June.

This isn't the only future WWE DVD release that has been effected by the Benoit Family Tragedy. Another DVD was scheduled to be released this month dedicated to the career of Stone Cold Steve Austin but the release date of that DVD has been pushed back because it was going to feature one or two Chris Benoit matches and WWE doesn't want to release DVD's that feature Benoit matches at this time. They may completely remove the Benoit matches from that DVD.

Also, WWE wanted to release the Summerslam Complete Anthology DVD Box Set in time for the holiday season but that's been put on hold because WWE is trying to decide what they're going to do about the Benoit matches that took place at the Summerslam events. I have more news about wrestling DVD's and wrestling in general on my free hotline called the Ringside Report at (847)604-3769. I can let you know for sure when the DVD's you're looking for will ship from great retailers like Amazon. I hope you've found this information to be helpful and please call my hotline and let me know what you think. Thank you.

Im pretty dissapointed about the delay on the Summerslam boxset. I was looking forward to that. Has anyone called that line and found out any of the supposed dates? Or is it scam city?

That would have been great to have the Summerslam Anthology released later this year. Damn you Benoit!!!

For the looks of it the article says that they don't want to release any Benoit matches at this time which could mean once they release the delayed DVDs they will likely include the Benoit matches on the Austin DVD and the future Anthology releases once the coverage dies down.

Pfft...Who knows if it's all true. I mean, It wouldn't surprise me that the chickenshits over in titan would pull dvd's because of certain things they fear "might" happen. I'm really disappointed about the wccw dvd. Probably the only dvd I was anxiously looking forward too. More so then any of the other dvd's, I could live without the cena, rey, hbk and austin dvd's because I have enough material of them to hold me over and the rest of the calender year is filled with dvd's of their careers.

thats pretty gay, considering he main evented SS04. the austin dvd doesnt bother me as much becuase theres so much austin footage that they can easily replace it with some diffrent matches.

I don't think it will be that seeing as though that series of dvds is exclusive to silvervision.co.uk.

I would love for it to be re releases of the Best of Raw videos from the 90's perhaps in a Tagged Classics form, but I guess only time will tell.

Damn, R2 gets all the stuff we get, and then tons more. Sucks for us. If they didn't cost so damn much to import, I would start collection those as well.

Tagged Classics don't have any WWF logos blurred out or sound references blocked out, and this includes the attitude era releases. The only UK releases that are edited are the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania anthology sets as they are basically the US release.

I actually spoke with somebody from Silvervision a while back and they are able to sell the old WWF events as long as the actual dvd casing has no reference to the WWF. There is apparently a loophole in the court ruling that prevents the old WWF events being re released in the US which is pretty obvious I guess.

The UK releases are often 2 months behind the US releases and there are tonnes of US store exclusives that I would love for my collection. I collect all the Blockbuster exclusives and bonus disc sets from the States and in my opinion it's more fun to track down the rare exclusives from overseas.

I would gladly look into posting out the exclusive UK dvds to serious collectors and I would only charge face value of the given dvd or dvds should anybody be after a certain title or set.
