And I agree, I like that poster more (for the same reason), although I understand the 40YOV parallel with the other poster.
wow, i'm an idiot...i work in a movie theater and am in charge of posters, and it actually occurred to me that the posters for 40YOV and KU were 'parallel'

in related news...going to BB to pick up the 2-discer after work

Started watching part of disc 2 where they get different actors to play Ben and it's hilarious. So much stuff to watch on this disc alone.

I didn't see any of the Target exclusive version either. Target exclusives now have a sticker on them saying that they are indeed exclusive. I picked up their Earl exclusive, which indeed had a sticker.

Also, for those wondering, the extended version is only 4 minutes longer than the theatrical version, so it's not like the 40-Year Old Virgin which was 17 minutes longer.

Yeah, I had the same problem at Target; got it home, and no booklet, despite the fact that the shelving label said otherwise. So many of these places drop the ball so consistently that its hard to know who to trust anymore; luckily for them, they don't seem to care too much.

As long as I've got the movie, I guess.

Although I would like to see what the booklet looks like, if anyone could post a page or two...

I picked this up at Best Buy with the playing cards. The cards are pretty lame, since everything has the same picture, even the face cards and joker. I probably should have just picked up the plain 2 disc version with the slip cover. Oh well.

After hearing the audio commentary, I have to say I can listen to Bill Hader's Al Pacino impression for hours and never get tired.

Random Question: Do you think the slipcover for the 2-Disc will still be available in a few months time? I'm wondering in case I order from DD at that time of year.

What is the difference between the Unrated DVD and the Collector's Edition DVD?
I'm confused... the Unrated has a green cover and the Collector's one has a red cover.

I know it's not the playing cards, because the one with the cards are in this huge box... kinda like a the Snatch Collector's DVD.

The Collector's Edition has a whole second disc devoted to about three hours worth of AMAZING extras.

I made a special trip to Target just to get their version with the booklet. Like others, the shelf tag mentioned the booklet, but none of the 2-discers on the shelf did. The Target employee said it must be inside. He was wrong. From the previous posts, this is obviously a nation-wide problem. Hey Target, I want my booklet!

I wonder if they will hide behind a "while supplies last" disclaimer or if they will get it corrected like the "Prison Break" bonus disc issue from last year. Although, Fox stepped up on that one, I believe.

I'm glad I just ordered mine from CH for free instead of driving an hour to Target for the one with a booklet.

Does the HD DVD version have everything from the 2 disc? Or has this been asked a million times before?

Sorry, I have been away for awhile and couldn't find the answer searching...

The HD DVD doesn't have any of the extras on the second disc (but does have some U-Control features), which means this is the first time I have ever chosen a DVD over its high def counterpart.

^ Got my sister to buy the 2 discer and watched all the extras on disc 2 yesterday... some truly awesome stuff. Loved the 'finding ben stone' featurette, the story of David krumholtz fucking himself out of the movie and of course the deleted/extended scenes... got the HD DVD on the way from Amazon for me, so I haven't watched the actual extended cut of the movie yet...but the 2nd disc of extras that Universal screwed HD owners out of is SUBSTANTIAL and highly entertaining.

The extras on Disc 2 with Ken Jeong were hilarious. The "rant" alone was worth the price of the entire DVD.

Random Q, but do the cut scenes have good picture quality, or do they have the timestamp with weak audio like on a bunch of releases?

I went to a different Target to try to exchange it and they were completely sold out of all the 2-discs, so they gave me a refund.

Maybe when they restock it will be the advertised version.

The deleted scenes are presented in decent quality anamorphic with no timecode or anything like that - they look damn good for the most part.

Well, i'm really pissed they took out the part where they talk about the "three-titted alien from Total Recal" and replaced it with a joke about some other woman's bush which wasn't nearly as funny.

I loved the Finding Ben Stone featurette on Disc 2. That was some funny shit with some pretty cool cameos.
