Xage, I mean this in all seriousness when I ask you, do you purposely try to start issues with other posters? It seems like whenever someone posts a collection that is better than yours, you have some kind of comment to try and discredit them. It's extremely annoying so please stop it!!

So what does this forum, as a group, consider a legit wrestling collection then? According to Xage, who seems to think he is the mayor of this forum, only DVDs that have been officially released count towards someone's collection?
So because my collection, which I started around 1986, has Coliseum videos from the 80's, PPVs, New Japan, All Japan, FMW, Big Japan, Noah, Zero One, Indy's, Raw, Smackdown, Nitro, Thunder, All-American Wrestling, MSG shows, Spectrum shows, etc... it is not a legit collection? Or just not a legit DVD collection?

I would like to hear your thoughts.
Bob

Just to help clear this up for you. We don't condone coping DVD's and trading or selling them. Or recording from TV and trading or selling that. It's fine for anyone to do, for themself, but not to go out and make it public to others, since it is illegal.

Hope this helps.

No, copying DVDs, whether yours or not, is illegal due to the DMCA and we don't allow discussions/trading/etc. of that type of material here. People who say they copy DVDs and then sell them are looked upon very unfavorably. Recording off TV in itself is fine for personal use. But attempting to trade or sell that material is blatant copyright infringement.

I thought that was what I just said? I have never copied a DVD in my life. I have recorded off of TV however, but I've never attempted to do anything other then keep it in my own collection. Anyway, sorry for the confusion.

You said "It's fine for anyone to do, for themself..."

Copying DVDs is not fine for anyone to do. It wasn't clear whether you were talking about copying DVDs or just the part about recording off TV there.

Ok, I just wanted to make that clear. Particularly since a person in this thread has posted how he regretted making copies of his DVDs and then selling them. Not because it was illegal/unethical/sleazy, but because they became worth something.

I said something about it but he appeared oblivious to the point.

Yes, and per Xage, you must post pics to prove you actually have what you say or it's worthless.

WWEshop.com has added the Judgment Day 2007 DVD. I noticed they have the DVD by itself (no t-shirt package) and it says EXCLUSIVE, does that mean that the DVD is only available through WWEshop.com???

Could be!

When was the last time shopzone had an exclusive DVD though?

I know they had a couple exclusive DVDs a few years ago... 2001 maybe... but have they done it since then or recently?

JD 02 & Vengeance 02 were the last ppvs that were exclusive to shopzone.

It looks like it will be exclusive to WWEshop in the US since it will be released in Canada on July 17.

More than likely it is a mistake on the listing and the DVD by itself is not exclusive.

Nah, every other place has it up for pre-order. I read a while back that there's going to be some bonus matches & exclusive interviews on the release. Probably give it the same treatment as the vengeance 2006 (bonus disc) or unforgiven 2006 w/ a bunch of dx extra's. Slap a pretty sticker on the front and get a sucker like me to buy it twice.

so basically there will be a regular 1 disc release at stores, a WWEshop exclusive and a Blockbuster exclusive of Judgment Day.

i highly doubt that Judgment Day will have/be any kind of exclusive to wweshop.com. i think it was just a typo, as most of it's merchandise states that it's "exclusive" to the site.

No, I'm under the impression that every store plus wwe shop will have L.E. judgment day dvd with exclusive stuff and blockbuster will have their now usual monthly dvd w/bonus disc. Matter of fact fye.com is listing judgment day 07 w/ bonus matches and Exclusive behind-the-scenes clips.

looks interesting.

I wonder what the ONS DVD will have, i got a feeling the Blockbuster bonus disc will include the Saturday Night Main Event from the night before, or WWE might even include it as an extra on the DVD itself.

wow! $16.99 US for the Ladder match DVD, thats pretty damn cheap, that comes out to $18 Canadian. Too bad Circuit City don't ship outside the US.

Today i picked up

Wrestlemania 23 - Ultimate Limited Edition (came out today) - $35.99
The Ladder Match - $26.99
The Most Powerful Families - $23.99

Don't know what to crack open first, the next 3-4 days are going to be great!
