Because if they left it in, it would cause more fans to do the same.

Exactly. They don't wanna encourage that sort of thing.

Anyway....

Take this how you want it. A few of the many wrestling "newz" sites are reporting a ricky steamboat dvd is in the works, BUT no timetable is set for it's release..

We'll see. I'm sure it'll be out the same day as the AWA re-release w/super clash.

A Steamboat DVD would be awesome!

The fan run-in on eddie/rvd ladder match was cut out. even on guerrero's dvd it was cut out, heck it was not even mention on the commentary track w/ both eddie & rvd rekindling their memories of that said match on eddie'a dvd.

I actually enjoyed the ladder match dvd but the Most Powerful families dvd was better for me IMO. w/Vince being in emotional tears telling stories from his father, fritz von erich's ultimely deaths on all of his sons (except kevin), The Hart Family legacy ending w/ diana hart being interviewed w/ WWE milking the soon to come debuts of nattie neidhart & harry smith to the company, the Fake Families in Pro wrestling are included also & especially all the Maivia/Anoia/Johnson Family clan being interviewed on the dvd including rock's grandma & rock himself.

Was the WM23 Ultimate Edition a KOCH? or WWE? care to share the UPC# of the set?

Actually Jim Ross confirmed the Steamboat DVD in his blog on his website.

Well bottom spin of the tin itself says WWE9462. The actual digipack inside has KOC-DV-9232, theres not actual UPC on it. So the DVD itself was made in Canada.

It also came with a Wrestlemania III Senitype.

You might want to confirm with DD, unless they've updated it by now, but the other day i wondered why they were still showing the Rock's Greatest Matches DVD, so I did a google search with the UPC they listed for it and it was actually the Ladder Match set.

Strange!

I read an article that WWE was ready to do a Rock Greatest Matches 3 DVD but asked to Rock to make appearances on RAW and Smackdown to promote the DVD but he declined so looks like the DVD is scrapped for now.

There was also a tentive list for the 3 disc set. I remember one of the matches listed was the 60 minute Iron man match with HHH at Judgment Day 2000.

Was it the Wrestlemania III Senitype of Piper/Adonis?

Thanks dude for the info... Looks like there was an over production of the WM3 Senitype packed with Circuit City WM23s and even reach Canadian distrubution of it under KOCH brand

Throwback thanks for the recommendation but based from the info shared by sg2386, I think my pick would be betweeh Bestbuy Exclusive and the Blockbuster WM23 edition

i am going to stick with the ultimate edition with WMIII Piper/Adonis senitype and also managed to buy a brand new WM23 Blockbuster exclusive DVD few days ago from that auction site that they don't want us to mention.

I am surprised that CC still has the Piper DVD with bonus disc. I thought those would be long gone.

Take a look at post #416 in this thread - sg2386 answered you. Seems a place called HMV with a price of $26.99 is your best bet.

Here in the United States, I wounded up pricematching the Circuit City ad at Best Buy thus getting it for $16.99 before tax.

Watched some of the first/second discs last night, awesome DVD. Wish there was a match commentary though-at least on one match per disc. Would have been neat to hear say Edge, Michaels, Benoit or either/both members of the Hardys giving their thoughts.

LB...

Finally picked up the Ladder dvd at Walmart today.
Yesterday I picked up the Loose Cannon Brian Pillman dvd for $8 and I gotta say that it is an excellent dvd. The documentary was excellent and the match selection w/ the Lyger Thunder matches are sweet. My only complaint was the lack of ECW material. I know his time in ECW was short but a lot of his heel promos were gold. I highly recommend this dvd.

So far from the Ladder match dvd I watched most of disc 1 and I watched the matches that I never seen. The Jake Roberts/JYD match was really cool to see footage of a "vintage" ladder match with 2 legends. I then watched the WCW ladder match and it was awesome. So much young talent in this one and they really worked their ass off. This is a great dvd that was well worth $16.99.
