the reason he was posting picts was to show us what the extras were...
so we could decide what we wanted..
you have your view point.. we have ours.. NO ONE IS WRONG..
but lets stop this crap before mods have to start verifying every post & start killing threads..

Without Xage in this and other threads, there would be several requests for pictures of each and every special edition that comes out. He's like... one stop shopping and I sure appreciate it. It helps me find a lot of releases I missed out on the first go around.

Topic: I finally got the Best Buy Special edition at a decent price and I am so pleased. It is really a lovely set. I am a sucker for those.

I think the clip of her saying it is on YouTube. Pretty sure it was part of an SDCC panel, most likely the 300/BLADE RUNNER one.

I don't doubt you, and I'm sure she said that, I just don't think it's up to her, and that WB has little reason to double dip on 300 right now, a lot more extras or not - maybe when Watchmen comes out.

I just did an A/B comparison of the SD vs. HD version and damn that HD transfer is gorgeous!

I say more power to xage if that's what he wants to do. I have two different versions of Spoorloos because there seem to be framing inconsistencies. Live and let live.

And I agree, he should get the HD DVD as well.

That is fine and dandy, he can spend his money anyway he sees fit. But we don't have to suffer for it every single time he makes a purchase, enough is enough.

Block him and be done with it. Xage is one of best posters here. Stop complaining about him.

If there were a lot of people with your complaint, I would understand.

There isn't.

Please.

Shut up about it.

OK, let me clarify why i said what i said. Xage's posts are VERY helpful, and his pics nicely demonstrate what's available -- this is great for the week leading up to release and even one or two weeks after release, so everyone can see what's available. for that reason, i wouldn't want to block his posts entirely.

but here it is, many weeks after release, and he's STILL posting updated pics of his hauls. i don't mind the initial pics, but they keep coming and coming long after release, which causes new waves of pages of collector frenzy. AND i could certainly understand the collector appeal of collecting and seeing what's available, but his posts cuts across ANY DVD title that may have a bonus item available at retail. so what i'm suggesting is for him to not posts so many pics of the same stuff over and over again. i apologize if my opinion is causing grief with some of you.

so let's get back to the 300 discussion. thanks, folks.

Who's suffering? You? Get over it. I think it's cool that Xage takes the time to post the pics; it helps me when I'm deciding what version to get.

BTW, how come your a "cool new member"?

It's a title based on how many posts you have. That one is for something like less than 20.

Because I am cool??

P.S. Why hasn't xage appeared during our discussion to give his point of view? All I am saying is it appears Darmok and myself think alot alike, it just seems too much when he post, then repost, then report again with the same pictures. It's just an opinion and at least it is not only me who notices the wasted space.

For the love of god, back off of xage already. He doesn't have to defend his honor around here, he's been around helping us out a lot longer than you have.

Fellow members, I appreciate your open opinion regarding my posts in this forum with the exception of one member:

Fellow DVDTalkers, Is this a COINCEDENCE? NOT! ...

If you would try this simple steps..

1. Try saving those pictures that both Steelbook#1 Fan and Wildo1996 posted

2. Once saved in your harddrive, try checking its properties (right click the photo save and choose properties).

3. Go to the summary tab *please choose advance

To DVDTalk Moderators, Here are all the facts. As you can see this member is trying to create some issues and bring up negativity to the forum. I would highly appreciate if you can police such activities and apply necessarry disciplinary measures

Mod note: Can't you people have a single conversation w/o getting into these pissing matches. I don't know what more to say about these types of antics/posts than what has already been said in this and other threads. If you want that level of discourse FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!

If someone feels there is more to say about the recent 300 release please feel free to start a new thread, but leave the bickering/singling out of posters out of it. This applies to everyone...
