You're missing the HD and BR versions

Not trying to say which is better, just stating you're missing them.

I think it's kinda funny - since the HD version, content-wise, is the most comprehensive version out there.

For sure. That PIP green screen comparison for the entire movie is pretty slick.

OMG, you ordered the DDD cheezy bracelet AND the useless Target versions as well?? where does it end for you? guess if there was a version out there with a "bonus" sticker attached to the slipcover, you'd buy that as well, LOL.

There is nothing wrong with XAGE ordering multiple copies of a release, to get the bonus items. It's apparently his thing, and we shouldn't judge him! More power to you, XAGE!

Hey, don't get me wrong -- I love DVDs, and I love some of the cool premiums! But it's starting to get a tad tiring how week after week we have to see how Xage picked up every version of the title of the week. I love collecting this junk as much as any other forum member here. But for all of those that love his posts/pics, there are also some that may feel it gets a bit exhausting after several pages of "where can i get it/how many were made/(insert other speculation here)". Xage, i have nothing against your posts, but just asking to tone down the collector zeal.

Here's another option... there's an ignore feature in your user control panel, I mean if you dislike him/his collecting style that much As long as his not belligerant about it, or starts violating forum rules, he's free to proceed w/ as much zeal as his likes. If people get sick of it they'll stop responding and the threads will die quickly...

I don't really think jealousy has anything to do with it. I'm not jealous that i don't have 5+ versions of 300, nor can i imagine doing so even if i was wealthy.

I can't argue with that. His last 300 posts were awesome.

According to Snyder's wife (and producer), there's a BR version in the works that will have all the HD-DVD stuff and more, so I guess that will become the definitive version.

Really? WB very rarely double-dips on dvds, and when they do it's with good reason and pretty long after the initial release. I can't see them double-dipping on a BR - any time soon, anyways.

I personally don't care how much money a person wastes on all the store exclusives, I just find this xage posts the same pictures over and over and then he will repost them even more. Maybe he should have his own thread where he can post everything there and people who want to see his stuff go right to it, it is obvious he loves to show off, what better place to do it than his own thread? Those of us who could care less can avoid it. Give me one version of a new release and I am happy.

Welcome to the forums!

By the way, nobody gave you shit when you started your one entire thread on one steelbook dvd you found that you considered so special.

I enjoy Xage's posts and seeing all the variations of the releases. He is similar with his DVD collecting as I am to my record collecting. While I have yet to feel the need personally to own more than one variation of a DVD release, I sure do like knowing what's out there.

I am not sure why I am the bad guy now, I was not the one who started about the multiple posts with the same pictures. I just added my comments to support darmok's claim it was getting a bit much. All I did was suggest a thread dedicated to the member xage, he could post everything in there and people who wanted to see it would know right where to look. I see the same pictures over and over with him and it gets a bit much. It seems every new release thread get's his pictures thrown at us. If I was the only one complaining I would say I am wrong, but others notice it too.
