You could still open them if they are side by side, but you could only open say the left door on one and both on the other at a 90 degree angle. Or both doors on one at 90, and then move onto the next after your done browsing. Taking a picture of all of your DVDs would prove tricky, but nice cabinets otherwise.

It is made by Ameriwood. You can have up to 8 dividers, and each holds up to 747 CDs, 354 DVDs, or 174 VHS. Don't mind the reviews. I'm very happy with these shelfs. Bought them a year ago and paid $40 each because OfficeMax were discontinuing them.

I've been meaning to do this for a few years. Thought it was finally time.
Main TV (obviously still have some cable management to do)...
Our office, where we keep all of our DVD's.
Main DVD Bookshelf (if you look closely you'll notice I have several replacement covers, sadly none of which were designed by me)
I also have some single disc, usually < $10 movies in the booklets on the bottom shelf (don't worry, they're not burned).
It's sort of a work around since I promised my wife I wouldn't go outside of that bookshelf (though I've also been able to squeeze by with the having a second "book"shelf seen below.
Shelf 2 (where I keep all of the HD, BD and TV Sets)

And a closer look at the collection...
Main bookshelf, top down. I already posted the bottom shelf above.
And shelf 2. I'm slowly putting together certain TV shows and only when I see a good deal.

The two baseballs with lots of signatures on them are the 1981 (maybe 82) Tidewater Tides. Important because Mookie Wilson is on there. The other is the 1988 Tidewater Tides. The reason why I have that one is that they happened to sign the team ball the week that Gary Carter was rehabbing an injury, so he's on that ball as well. I'm from the Norfolk area originally and this winter the team, now the Norfolk Tides) ended a 39 year affiliation with the Mets to become the Orioles AAA team. So they were clearing out all of this stuff they had had sitting in boxes for years relating to the Mets. A bunch of old game worn stuff (which I don't really care about) and team balls for every year until the early 90's. Each ball was like $5, so I picked up those two.
Also, you can't see them easily, but there are David Wright, Jose Reyes, Alonzo Mourning (my mom used to work with his dad) and Chris Cooley autographs in the room as well.

Small but growing collection of HD-DVDs:
TV seasons and other sets are organized on the cross section:

No surround sound down here yet; will probably get another HD receiver down here first:
My old home theater room had built in shelves which I miss:

cwwallace, nice setup. But do you get too much sunlight and glare on the tvs? Especially downstairs?
I like rooms with a lot of natural light but I can't stand glare on the tv.

Thanks L.H.O. No glare upstairs with the DLP. The Toshiba downstairs has a screen that is very reflective but the way I have it set up the light is always behind it. I actually took those pics at the brightest time of the day as well.
