Yeah I did paint one of the walls white as it was some gnasty fake wood before. It's a rental house, so I make do with the space for now. Believe me, I know exactly what I do with the space to make it a true home theater, but I don't want to sink the money or the time to do it if it isn't my place.

Thanks for the props from everyone!

Yeah the wife and I had a nice little Saturday with IKEA then Bed Bath & Beyond

Thanks. It's basically the living room since I don't have an extra room for a home theater. I think it's a bit cluttered for a living room, but I spend more time in there than I do my bedroom, so I guess if I'm going to live like a college kid - might as well look like I do.

Those are the HOPEN chest of drawers from IKEA: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50088571

They are sturdy and attractive and hold about 58 DVDs per drawer and have 6 drawers for a total of nearly 350 DVDs. 199 is the price of the wider one that will fit 3 rows of DVDs (plus a bit) I think, but the one I got is like 179 or 169. I bought 2 of them and plan to pick up another. I spent a lot of time looking for a good solution and this was the best I found. The only issue is that the drawers don't come all the way out and you have to kinda lift them a bit to pull them over the roller - it's not a big deal because the drawer can rest on the roller and you hold up the front. I suggest going to an Ikea with a few DVD cases and seeing if you like it. It's the single best DVD-related investment I've made.

Ok - after looking through some of the thread, I realized people are more interested in the collections so here's more on my collection (but definitely not all by a long shot)...

This is my ugly old couch - it's going to be re-covered and will look cool when it's done. At least it's comfy and seats like 10 people.

BD?

I do have another version of that I can't unload - it's just a regular R3 release in a standard case... I think it came first. Then I couldn't pass up that first huge box... then I couldn't pass up that wooden box with the knife. Such a dumbass I am. None of this shit is worth anything. Sometimes looking at my collection makes me physically sick when I think of what it cost.

Yeah - Crimpshrine was one of my favorite bands when I was a kid, so 15 was a logical step. I even had Jeff Ott's single which sucked. I also have Schlong, Pinhead Gunpowder, Logical Nonsense, Nuisance, and everything else you could think of from that era. You should see my records.

Trigger, it's huge, it's multiregional and it's awesome. One of the nicest collection I've seen. Deeply impressed by all your Korean LEs. I noticed spines of R-Point, Acacia, Hero, Tale of Two Sisters, Shiri... You've got them all! I won't even mention Olboy's copper box Even all the Korean releases alone would be a great collection, but you've got a lot of other great stuff!

I'm impressed... even more so considering your age. How much did this set you back? I'm 18 and will probably post my setup soon. It's not quite as big as yours equipment wise, my HDTV is smaller... but I wouldn't mind comparing it to yours. Good job man!

The "ray" is part of "Blu-ray", and not a separate word, so it's "r" isn't capitalized, therefore, the correct abbreviation is BD.

Yeah, someone pointed that out to me in another thread. I don't like it as far as abbreviations go.

Ahh, thank you. Yes, I have a shit-ton of Korean LEs. I have boxes more of them in another room - this is just what I have out.

Thanks. I have a bunch of 7"ers that would likely impress as well. I took better pics of the CDs, but didn't bother uploading them. I can if anyone cares though.

The description from Amazon:

Spoiler:
A touching story about a young high school student (though the subtitles have been changed to make her a college student) who resents her amply-bosomed classmates. Ever-resourceful, she dons a mask and brightly-colored padded bra, and becomes a superheroine. Her mission is to capture her busty peers, make silicon molds of their breasts, and threaten to shame them by showing off the breasts in public unless they start wearing breast-constricting girdles. Exciting action scenes ensue for a while - mostly of the absurd girls-slapping-each-other variety - but her plan goes awry, for some undiscernable reason, when she meets and falls in love with another woman.
This clumsy attempt at soft-core porn is not even slightly titillating, but it is weird, confusing, and comfortably silly. Good viewing for a night with friends and some light drinking. The best part are the scenes that didn't make it into the film - namely, about a dozen takes of the main actress falling off of a bicycle.

Big Boobs Buster is quite funny... I got it on VHS years ago somehow or for some reason and later when I saw it on DVD, I picked it up to replace the VHS.

Squidget - can't marry you, but thanks for the offer.

Hey Trigger, you're missing Jawbox's "Novelty" . And even though the names to the right are out of focus, just by looking at the spines, I can tell that you have some Samiam, Hot Water Music & Face to Face. Excellent taste, my friend!

I have Novelty... also have every Samiam released (including imports), every HWM, and every worthwhile Face to Face (including their limited split Cassette-only release)... and thanks.
