*bump*

I don't know why people are posting in Part 7 of this thread, when we are in Part 11.

Here are my DVDs:

Here is our living room, just moved into a new apartment with the girlfriend. It is kinda small, 1150 square feet but it will work until we get a house. 42" Samsung plasma and Time Warner HD cable.

Here is my future theater room. Right now it houses a 46" Samsung DLP but I will be purchasing a projector in the next month. Right now I am looking at the Sony Pearl(VPL-VW50) and a new Definitive Technology surround setup. Most likely pair of 7006's, CLR2300 and BPX surrounds.

Here is the room so far.

Excuse the mess and the shitty movie playing on the living room TV.

Which shitty movie is that playing? I would have guessed Open Water, but you have that DVD in your collection, so I doubt that'd be it.

Yes they are very comfy. I have an older 5.1 setup but I am not sure I want to bother setting it up until i purchase my new Def Tech system. We just moved in a couple weeks ago and started my new job so I am slow to get things ready. But I might wait until I get a projector and sound system before I set anything up.

Thats Savage Sinema from Down Under, its a boxset of three of director Mark Savage's films: Marauders, Sensitive New Age Killer and Defenceless. If you like horror or indie films I suggest you pick it up, very good.

just checking out the collection from spizz :- is it just me - or do Blu-ray cases look plain and boring in ones collection ????

there's nothing 'exciting' about them (and bloody hard to read with the curved edge)

I can see how that looked bad. But my choice in words was a reflection of what the OP had originally said.

It would be nice if my local Ikea (or their website) would get in the extra shelves I need (this is going on 2 months now).

It looks like the majority of Spizz's DVDs aren't even open. I think someone just robbed a Best Buy.

SPIZZ

Did those black shelves come from Best Buy? I remember they had some like those, but I think they are discontinued. I'm looking for some new larger shelving.

It is made by a company called Master Replicas and picked it up while the Disney Website had a huge sale. I am very happy with how it looks.
