as several other users have already stated, that is your opinion. to say that my opinion in "wrong" is being a bit intollerant to other people`s preferences!
as i am a collector i do have a tendency to pay extra for nice packaging and if a like an edition and am happy with it i don`t mind, but if you only go for the cheapest possible and simplest amaray editions thats fine with me and i would definitely never judge you the way you did me....

I don't think this is even available in Canada, which sucks. It's not shown in Future Shop or Best Buy's flyers, and it's also not listed on their sites.

I just ordered the 2 Disc Limited Edition from Deep Discount DVD. If I am not mistaken they have one in Canada too, don't they? Oh well, It looks like it is going to ship since I got my confirmation e-mail.

I pre-ordered this on Amazon.ca for cheaper than the 1 Disc version. It's still listed for about $24 while the 1 Disc is $27.

To my knowledge, the DVD original scheduled release date remains for Tuesday September 5th.

What is it with Universal screwing Canada on the 2 disc LE versions of movies lately... this and MUNICH come to mind.

In the past, Best Buy has always had at least a couple of these limited Universal 2-discs at opening - they didn't have one copy of this one today.

I went ahead and just got the 1-disc rather than hunt around for the 2-disc. Isn't the difference between them only 1 more documentary on disc 2?

I checked Wal-Mart, just in case, and of-course none there. Then I went to my local Circuit City, none to be found as well.

Finally, went to Best-Buy and found only 4 copies of the Limited Edition. They pricematched Circuit-City's internet price of $19.99 . . . basically my "United 93" adventure for the day.

Yeah, 1 extra documentary on the 2 discer . . . pretty underwhelming, but I'm hoping it'll retain some value due to it's "limited" status. Anyways, $19.99 isn't too bad since we usually pay $22.99 - $24.99 nowadays for the 2 disc versions.

Found one at Best Buy in Bend, but the slipcover was banged up a bit. Besides, I had already ordered it from CC. I will say that the packaging was too similar to the 1 disc. If not for the smaller photo of the plane on the slipcover and the 2 disc limited edition print up top, it's easy to overlook on the display rack.

My Best Buy had about 15 copies of this, and I called my CC to see if they had any and they said they had about 20 copies of it.

I preordered mine from DDD, and when I saw it in person I wanted to cancel. 1 extra feature...light as all hell. I didn't feel like I was getting a $24.99 DVD, that's for sure.

I picked my copy up at Best Buy AND was lucky to get it for 19.99 'cause a person yesterday said it was supposed to be 19.99 instead of 24.99.

How long is the extra documentary? Worthwhile?

This is nothing like the Munich LE, as many claimed it may have been. The Munich LE is a very nice digipack dvd, the United 93 LE packaging is more in line with Universal's King Kong 2-disc set. So this may not be so rare like Munich LE was. I got this as a blind buy at Best Buy, they had only 1 copy left.

Both my CCs didn't have it. Got last one at BB for $24.99. Only a couple bucks more than CC after shipping, and I can watch it tonight.

Paint me a sucker for the limited 2 disk sets. And if I only found one, I would think that is limited. I found 2 Munichs, so for me, this is even more limited.

Actually, I saw plenty of copies of the Munich LE the day it was released (though none later), where as none of the same stores that had the Munich LE had even one copy of this. So I'd say the United93 LE is a lot more rare.

My Best Buy got four of the two-disc LEs, but no one knew where they were. After extensive hunting, it turned out they were mixed in with the single-disc sets. The only way to find them was to go through the dozens of other copies until you found one. And the regular release was spread out in three locations --- the front of the store, the drama section and the new-release section. The LE was only in the new-release section, but that seemed to be entirely by chance.

So, if you're looking for it, it's worth flipping through the racks.

Yeah, I found two at a Best Buy near me while flipping through the regular editions. I had mine preordered through DeepDiscountDVD, so I didn't get it at Best Buy... I was just curious.

Has anyone had a copy from DeepDiscountDVD shipped yet?
