I hope it's not too hard to find, here in Canada. I want to blind-buy a copy.

I'll just get the HD-DVD version. I always wanted to get the Jarhead, Munich and Cinderella Man LEs and now I'm 67% of the way there.

This is exactly why I'm not remotely interested in making the HD switch yet.

This isn't a thread about reviews. I couldn't disagree more with his "review."

Even if HD DVD loses that doesn't mean that your player dies with it. You will still be able to watch the movies that you purchased.

Looks similar to the way Universal also handled the King Kong releases, with the 2-disc being just a slipcover.

That BA-LOWS!

For a movie like United 93, Universal should have gone the Jarhead packaging route.

I totally second that point! I figured all the other limited editions that you could never find were in nice packaging, so I thought they'd do the same for United 93.

what?! it has a slipcover as well! man, what a rip off, why did i spent so much more on my preorder then! i thought the single disc would be without a slipcover and that the limited would probably be a nice digi. the extras better make up for the extra bucks!

Meh. Your priorities are wrong anyway if you're throwing down extra money for packaging.

So what? What if your priorities are wrong if you're going to throw down extra money for additional documentaries or special features?

Please stop being holier-than-thou.

According to dvdactive:

Extras on the single-disc will include an audio commentary with the director, and a United 93 - The Families and the Film documentary which takes a look at the real-life stories behind the brave passengers and crew. The two-disc limited edition will include all of that, along with a 50 minute documentary entitled "Chasing Planes: Witnesses to 9/11"
So you decide if it's worth the extra money for the 2-disc version

philip74's priorities are right for him, just as yours are right for you. I, too, would pay a little extra for nicer, limited release packaging. Collectors have that tendency.
