Xploited shipped mine on Friday, but the tracking says it's still waiting to be picked up. I'm guessing I'll get it Wed. or Thurs.

I just picked up my copy last night from a local store that I order movies from. I've yet to see this before so I am looking foreward to watching it this weekend. I am impressed with the package as a whole and especially at $20, this seems like a steal.

Mine arrived in the mail today. Very nice packaging. Reversable cover artwork (the other side are reproductions of the original theatrical posters). 3 inserts: Production Diary, comic and "essays and comments" regarding the 3 documentaries.

I'm very happy so far!

Does it have that damn overlapping disc type packaging inside?

I like the overlap packaging far better than the "extra plastic page" that you have to mash the hell out of the center to get the DVD off of.

Yes. There's a hinged flap that holds 2 discs and the back of the case holds 2 more discs. The inside of the front of the case holds the soundtrack CD and the inserts. The case itself is clear and very sturdy.

I was going to take a pic but, apparently, I forgot to turn off my camera so it still has to charge.

Sounds exactly like the casing for the Prince Valiant animated series.
I hope this isn't what it is as that case had the problem that the hinge
would scrape across the top of the higher disc of the 2 on the back
when you opened it.

OK, I ordered it from DDD along with "Imprint" - so both are released on the same day. I received my order confirmation, listing both, and then the shipping confirmation for Imprint only. Checking back at DDD's site it lists Dust Devil still on hold as a pre-order. Has anyone else gotten their set from DDD, or at least a shipping confirmation?

No, I pre-ordered mine with Dark Waters and Lady Vengeance and so far only Lady Vengeance has shipped. It's scheduled to be delivered today. I was hoping that by pre-ordering these, I'd get them all on release day. My estimated ship date said 9/15 for the longest time, but it changed to 9/26 two days ago for Dust Devil and Dark Waters. I hope they ship soon.

Received mine yesterday and of course one of the plastic hinges was broken. I hate it when you can hear little plastic things sliding all over inside before you even take the wrapping off...!!!

Still no shipping from DDD on mine, either.

Received mine yesterday (Monday) from Xploited. To my surprise, it came a couple days earlier than I expected. I was also expecting a bigger DVD case to fit five DVDs. It's kind of neat it doesn't take up a lot of room on the shelf.

Thanks for posting that pic Tom. It sure does look like a nice set. I wish DDD would go on and ship mine.

This is one of the reasons I love Xploited. Tony's the best. Yes, he's not the cheapest but he'll ship it quickly and his customer service is excellent.

I'm curious what's up with DDD. I would imagine they got their shipment around the same time as Tony.

I think there were some reviews posted earlier in the thread. Here's one from our very own reviewer here:

I ordered mine from DDD and it still hasn't shipped and there is no pending charge on my bank account. I ordered it over a month and a half ago so I would assume even if it was a limited shipment I would get one.
