Almost no special features at all, actually it looks like what amounts to NO special features for any of the new to DVD releases.
At least we're finally getting the movies, but Fox sucks. They'd rather add more junk features to a double-dip new release that's only been out 6 months than give proper treatment to catalog titles. Whatever.

What's really unexcuseable is the fact that a Mel Brooks commentary track exists for Robin Hood: Men in Tights, but they're not using it. It's on the LaserDisc and overseas DVD releases. Still, I hope that RH:MIT eventually becomes available individually as I would love to own it.

This is disappointing, I was hoping for a few new extras. I might have to pass up on this. I've only seen half of the movies and really was hoping for some special features.
Looks like I'll wait for Men in Tights to be released individually.

There's some news in the HTF thread that Young Frankenstein may unfortunately be the old version. Although Robert Harris apparently has his set and was claiming 16:9 enhancement for all, but Colin from DVDMG says his YF is non-anamorphic, and that Blazing Saddles is the old version.
Strange.
Any NYC dwellers get this early?

WHY WHY WHY would they not include the latest version of Blazing Saddles? The old transfer was pretty bad!
Hopefully Fox will release these titles individually. I'm not spending money on old transfers when newer/better ones exist.

I'm going to buy it regardless because even though I would probably reach to the bottom of a piss bucket for anamorphic versions of History of the World P1 and Young Frankenstein, even if those aren't updated I'm still looking forward to High Anxiety, Silent Movie, To Be Or Not To Be and RH:MIT.
I should have mine Friday evening, possibly earlier (my distributor has been getting Fox stuff pretty early), and I will report back here with my findings.

I'm going to hold off on this also. not that I wouldn't love High Anxiety and Robin Hood and the others, but i'm going to bite the bullet and wait for these to be released individually, and hope and pray that I can hold out untill they are released seperately, because i've been waiting for the two movies mentioned above for a long time now.

Why in god's name would they include the old version of Blazing Saddles? This may be a dealbreaker for me, seeing as I was going to sell my 30th Anniversary version to help pay for this new box.

Well it looks like YF may be OK.

So, if HTF is right, is this set worth the price? I'm on the fence right now and if i want it i need to order tonight sometime so that it will get here in my shipment this weekend. Basically, is it worth the gamble, or is there just too much confusion over the set right now?

They probably will later down the line.
