History of the world looks good so I don't think it is auto-zoomed. I played it on my PS2 so I don't think it even has a zoom feature. On the back cover it says 2.0 stereo but it's only in mono! So now I'm not sure what to believe?

I believe the cover is wrong. To me the audio didn't sound very much different from the last release.

Cover for HOTW is definately incorrect. It lists English Stereo and Mono, along with French and Spanish Mono.

The disc only has the English and French Mono tracks. It does have Spanish subtitles, which aren't listed on the cover either.

Could you point me somewhere that lists the commentary track for the overseas versions? I checked dvdcompare.net and a few other places but couldn't find any mention of a commentary track.

Does the HOTW disc have the new FBI commercial? Mine doesn't, but it has disc art stamped 2006.

So does anyone know if the sets are now pretty safe to be purchased with the anamorphic copies? I just ordered the set from CircuitCity.com, and I'm wondering if I still need to be on the lookout for the yellow cases.

Well, I came here to post the date for the individual releases, but it was posted a week ago, and I never saw it!

SO, just a bump and reminder to anyone still waiting for these, 9/5/06 is the day. And DDD has all of these (except YF) for $10.33. I have already added this in a separate thread about Men In Tights, but since I missed this thread, perhaps others did too.
