what is the release date for this? I searched the thread, but didn't find it(though I'm sure I probably missed it).

With one or two exceptions, every actor from Firefly has been working steadily since the series ended. It wouldn't surprise me if Firefly alumni collectively have the best batting average in the industry in terms of staying employed. They're all over the place in feature films, on Broadway, in TV series old (Desperate Housewives) and new (Terminator).

Usually, after a cancelled series most of the actors disappear beneath the waves. Not Firefly.

That's hardly true. Also, the cast of Firefly has been much more successful and busy post-cancellation than say, the cast of Friends, which was a whole lot more popular.

Adam & Morena did a 2 hour sci-fi channel movie. It was on middle of last month..
Was pretty good till the end.. the last 15 min just stunk...

He also was a regular on the show Daybreak.

Morena was in an episode of How I Met Your Mother as well.

He is also going to be in the upcomming show Chuck. I've saw the pilot at Comic-Con and he was great in it.

I bet Serenity HD shows up in the next giveaway just to clear stock and get this one out sooner....that is if sales go well enough

DVDEmpire's specs say that DTS is included.

that's the point, every website lists it as an option, but the reviewer didn't review that at IGN? it just seems odd. maybe he doesn't have the set-up which would make for a very weak reviewer, but at least a mention that it is there would be a normal review.

Ah, I see. Well, the review here does mention that it includes a DTS track:

never saw that sight before. it seems like he did see this new dvd, but wasn't at all specific about certain things. it just seems like a cut and paste job from the previous single addition. i just mean there is no real elaboraion of the video or sound and the comments about the new commentary track could be assumed by anyone who hasn't even listened to it. i guess i am a skeptic, but i am willing to give that reviewer the benefit of the doubt. hopefully, more reviews will roll in prior to Tueday, but i am on board either way as i am just addicted to this movie. DTS would be so awesome if it is done right for ths release.
