Sweet Jesus that's a fantastic horror movie collection. My only question is where's the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre? You have the remake and the original's sequel, but no original... unless I missed it.

Of course it does. He has to move it to get to his DVDs.

That is a Hong Kong import I got off ebay a little while back. Has all episodes plus the movie and a toy, with a few other stuff. Cost about $40.

Thanks DthRdrX and Willh51. I had that stand custom-built for only about $300. Key design features included fitting my center speaker, and keeping the overall line-of-sight down. There's a 10" foot on this TV, and putting it atop most TV stands would have raised the sight line too high. I'd be glad to PM the specs (and the name of the furniture maker if anyone happens to be in the Phoenix area).

I have to smile: Amidst all that equipment is the handiest little holder for DVDs "in use." It's a plastic envelope holder with four dividers that belongs to a deskset (pencil holder, letter tray, etc). Put me out like 5 bucks at OfficeMax.

Very nice set up. The tv stand turned out nice, too. I tried to find one that would fit my center speaker, but couldn't find one that I liked - or if I did like it, it cost too much. I ended up just making my own and saved a lot. Plus - just got back from watching Kong, so the tv looks really nice too.

Yep, figured that when I got it. But for the price couldnt' pass it up, refuse to pay full price for R1 when my kid will end up watching them and doing god knows what with the discs.

Trying to get all the old cartoons from that time period. Just wish the GI Joe wasn't so damn expensive.

The transformers are probably boot, but what kind of quality are they? The same as region1? I'm having a hard time tracking down the remaining sets that I didn't buy before they went out of print.

Randall,

I'll be relocating to Pheonix around May. Was wondering if you could share the specs and builder of that beautiful cabinet. I would appreciate it. Thank you. [email protected]

What I have watched so far are all pretty decent. Watched the movie first and couldn't find any major complaints.
