In "The Man Who Falls" does Batman become involved with Ras Al Ghul's daughter?

I know that no one can really answer this, but do you think retailers are going to come close Amazon's discount the first week?

Stores will feel better about pricing the 1disc version at $15.99 (and not the 2disc at that price as usual).... and the 2disc at $24.99 (closer to the MSRP) for the people [like me] that want all the extras. If the 2disc sells, then more money made on each sale.

You won't find a better price for the 2-disk. I'm guessing it'll be at best around 19.99 in stores.

Well I went ahead and placed my pre-order at amazon. I was just going to use a gift card to buy the deluxe edition at wal-mart on release day (as I usually get one or two for my birthday) but at that price its pretty hard to refuse.

And now I can use the giftcard money for other goods or services.

It is a great price. Hopefully amazon will end up having the deluxe edition on Sin City for $15.98 too. That would be a trip.

Yeah, if you order something else along with it, otherwise, DDD is cheaper since they have free shipping. Ive also gotten ALOT of pre-orders a couple days early from them. Amazon seems a bit slow.

I went ahead and spent the extra couple bucks for DDD. $18.86 shipped.

I just hope BB doesnt have an extra bonus disk or Ill be buying it from there too!!!

I always order a lot from Amazon (I have about 20 open preorders right now), so free shipping isn't an issue. Also, seems I'm close to their distribution center, and I get all my orders in about 2 days with free shipping, and preorders usually ship out on Sunday or Monday, so I often receive them on release day, or Wednessday.

Usually, amazon is somewhat quick for me too....they ship out on Monday or so and then I have them by Thursday (sometimes Friday).

When I pre-order from DDD more times than not, I get them on Monday or Tuesday. I guess it depends on when they get their shipment in.

So, it looks like they dropped the commentary announced in the first post?

cd-wow's got the R3 2-disc for $15.95 shipped. They still are claiming it has a commentary, but we'll see.

I'll probably be ordering this one. The only thing I think I'll be missing out on is the comic, but I'm not worried about that.

I think the comic is a great extra. It's 72 pages. Will be very interesting.

You know, I'm REALLY surprised they didn't include all of the trailers on this. I loved all the ones I saw and know that there were many international as well as domestic trailers. *sigh* Oh well...

^ Agreed, Digi. Although I'm more annoyed at the exclusion of a commentary track. I didn't see it listed in the review.

Future Shop has the two versions listed on their site as $25.99 each. No price difference whatsoever.

Of course, it could change by release day.

Dvdtalk review http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17995

says they only included the first issue of Long Halloween along with the first Batman comic and origin story. I thought it would be the whole series, wouldve rather had the whole Halloween story.

The entire Long Halloween story is like 400 pages long, including it would have been tough.
