I think all HD titles have stalled due to no hardware.

After reading the recent delay of hd-dvd/blu ray format in the wall street journal last week...it is probably coming next year instead of q4 of this year.

They are right off the Digital Bits site- which is why they are small.

Nick, sorry. I wasn't doubting your post, I just meant if that is what WB decides to release as the final covers. It could still change just like that giant head Veronica Mars cover changed.

Best we can hope for is a $22-$24 sale price for the two-disc.
Amazon's price is $15.98. Grab it.

Can they change that price on you after you've preordered it?

box art looks fine, we should be glad it doesn't look like the new Batman SE's covers.

Even if it is a price mistake, amazon honors the price 99.9 percent of the time.

I'm asking for the 2-disc edition for my birthday. I'll have to wait till Nov. 27, but I have already seen it in theaters. Hopefully I might get the Batman boxset too .

No.

Amazon always honors whatever price you ordered at, unless it's one of those rare misplaced decimal points making a $90 boxset appear to cost $9. But nobody would honor that.

Oh no, I never thought anything like that.
Speaking of changing covers a la "Veronica Mars" (GAWD DAMN do I love that show! ) sorry... I'm sure custom covers will be all the rage come time this comes out- The other "Batman" movies as well as the horrible new "Titanic" Jim Cameron cover will likely inspire the artist in many of us to come up with our own.

That's a nice cover for the R2. Looks like I'll be buying all the Batman films on DVD from the UK. What's the R2 release date for Begins?

I'm actually just as happy with the 2-disc cover. The single-disc is cool, but the swarm of bats all over the front makes it a little busy for my tastes. I like better the effect of Batman's body dissolving into the bats. Plus, there's just a more pleasing aesthetic quality to the overall composition.

Count me as one who likes the R1 2 Disk cover better. But I do like them both.
