Best:
1. "Reservoir Dogs: Mr. Brown Edition" (Anyone who has that is A-OK in my book)
2. –tie-"V: The Miniseries & V: The Final Battle" (the greatest miniseries in the history of the medium!!)
3. –tie-"Brotherhood of the Wolf: Canadian Special Edition" & “The Dark Crystal: SUperbit” (the first is an excellent movie made even more spectacular in such a wonderful Canadian presentation and all the extras are subtitled!!, TDC just holds such a special place in my heart. I had the Superbit until I opted for the extras and sold it )

Worst:
1. "The Wedding Planner" (J.Lo!)
2. ”Maid in Manhattan” (must be a J. Lo thing, but just doesn’t fit with an otherwise stellar collection)
3. "Analyze That" (why?), wait then I just saw ”Bring It On: Collector’s Edition” (why, why??)

Most Needed:
1. "Day of the Dead: Divimax Edition" (just complete the epic trilogy for crying out loud)
2. ”The Fifth Element: Ultimate Edition" (you have the movie in superbit, now have all the glorious extras)
3. "Heat: 2-Disc Collector’s Edition" (time for an upgrade)

someone do me again...this is fu-un!

You know...his listing of Bring it On also caught my attention. That's why I just listed "any other chick flick". He had too many to put under Worst.

Surprised you chose Robocop Trilogy. After watching them again in several years, I was surprised at the level of anti-corporation rhetoric. I just got Equilibrium last week. Cool show. Loved the gun play battles.

Worst:
Seabiscuit (Full Screen)
My mom bought that one. Hence the Fullscreen.

2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
Actually I like it a bit more than the original.

Van Helsing (2004)
Figures. But hey, it's a cool popcorn flick for the Halloween season.

Need:
Lock up
Nah, seen it. Not real crazy about it.

Equilibrium R3 edition ... if you got some DTS...
Not region free. Don't have DTS either...At least not yet.

More Star trek -=- well... maybe not, looks like you got it all.
What do you mean? I can't get any more Trek. Well, TOS, but I don't care for the '60s look. Shame that they never made the Star Trek Phase II series.

how could you hate on "The Deadly Spawn" and "The Flamingo Kid"...two 80's staples that should be in everyone's collection, at least the latter of which anyway

for needs: i didn't like Malena all too much when i rented it.
there was no need for the big shbang on KBv2 since no new edition of movie so i just went with R1 as it was cheaper as well and R1.
Alien head would be way cool, but so would eating.

Scott, the three "worst" picks are just guilty pleasures of mine. Well, the first two really...I bought WtM totally blind and I haven't even watched it yet.

I'm wanting to buy some AS Criterions, and I will pretty soon. I especially want to get Ikiru, then make my way into his other more well known stuff.

I like all war movies, I guess I don't have the ones you mention just because, well, I dont' really know why. They are all on my "to buy" list in my mind. Same with South Park, I'll be picking up all of those pretty soon also.

nothing wrong with guilty pleasures..."Baby's Day Out?..you must be a dad.
but, N & J? lots of love.

Ikiru is masterwork, but how bout starting simpler with "Seven Samurai" or one of his other masterful samurai flicks..."Rashomon" or "Yojimbo"..."Ikiru" is just a lot to take one for a first.

for war. at least get "Platoon" simply impacting!!

i tell you i watched my first two South Park episodes ever like tuesday and Wed and they just killed me...i am going to be taping the new season starting next Wed as well. too bad i came so late to the party!
ps) how is "Passion of the Jew" if you saw it?

Well, when it first hit theaters my sister took me to see it at a small theater near here, and the theater is no longer there, and I guess it just stuck with me as a "great memory of my sister", and from that the movie is remembered by me because of that.

ps) how is "Passion of the Jew" if you saw it?
I've never seen that.

Wondered when/if someone would point out the Seagal flicks. But hey, gotta get your calcium...er, cheese somewhere.

Most Needed
Godfather Trilogy set
Working on it. Waiting on the individual releases.

Something that is a "comedy"!
Comedies are a waste of $ to me. I'm a drama/action/sci-fi kind of guy.

Firefly Complete Series - All of that Sci-Fi and no Firefly set? WTF?
Eh? Watched the {out of order} premier episode and didn't like it at all. And two, had it been at least a complete season, I might have given it a look/chance. Same thing goes with why no Crusade even with the entire B5 collection. Not a full season. I don't like incomplete stories...also has to do with my tendency to be a completist.

The Lita DVD came in a lot of WWE DVDs that I got from eBay. I dispise her and haven't chucked it yet because I'm a bit of a completist. *cringe*

15 Minutes was a used store find for five bucks. I had heard good things and since my girlfriend offered to pay, who was I to stand in the way? And don't sass Batman, friend. Although I do feel stupid paying 15 at the time for something that's in the bargain bin now.

I can't believe my yoga and 50 Cent DVDs weren't right there on the list.

"Tao of Steve" (anyone who has this gem in their collection is way
cool by me)
"Prime Gig" (i can't believe people actually have these two)

Worst:
1. "Carnivale" (that series is just too bizarre)
2. "Wyatt Earp" (you have "Tombstone" nuf said)
3. "Adaptation" (didn't see too many dislikes in your collection, but i didn't like this one at all after "Being John Malkovich", which i loved)

"Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition (All)" (if you like the series, the
upgrades are an absolute must!!)
"Schnidler's List" (you have a great war theme section, but not this
utter heart wrencher!)
