My very first Criterion is Blade Runner on laserdisc.

The first on DVD I believe is Seven Samurai.

My first Criterion was Silence Of The Lambs which I purchased on 12/12/99. I think I remember also getting Brazil at the same time but ended up selling it later because I didn't like the movie. I got both DVDs during the Reel coupons and Brandsforless rebate days.

Silence of the Lambs. I got it when I first started collecting and before I even knew what Criterion was.

first was "Armaggedon"...though i didn't know it was Criterion or even what Criterion meant at the time (not that it really means anything)...this was before i began taking collecting somewhat seriously.

Black Narcissus

Bought before I had a player because it is my favorite movie. Paid $39.99 at Tower Records (before I knew a thing about on-line discounters). Still worth every penny.
