Just guessing, but he probably doesn't have a wife or girlfriend.

I'm married 9 years to a very understanding wife. My 5 year old daughter loves watching dvds in the HT with me.

Now I just need to make room for the MR AT-AT

Those pics went from cool, to sad, and ended up as being completely pathetic.

btw, the RotK gift set looks sweet as hell. Of course, I'll pass on this set because when I'm dead... im not gonna be able to take any of that shit with me.

Personally, while I'm alive, I enjoy my HT room and the possessions/collectibles in it. I think it's kind of morbid to deprive yourself of things you may enjoy because "when your dead... you can't take any of it with you". BTW, I do plan on being buried with my LE Anduril Sword.

Back on topic:

I wonder how many gift sets they will produce. It seems like they have over produced in the past but this may be the best gift set of the three. There could potentially be a shortage due to the current manufacturing demands for other sideshow products.

Is it just me, or do Lara's posts get meaner and meaner?

Like most of your posts you mean? You seem to be just crapping on everywhere. Geez.

On topic: never bought the gift sets for the previous releases so I doubt I'll pick this up. Still very nice work nonetheless. And I for one am on the dgc's-collection-is-f'in-awesome side of the fence btw.

Just because someone has an very big interest in something doesn't mean its ok for you to come in a put someone down. I'm sure that you have personal interest that no one else cares for, but why put someone else down just to hear yourself speak?

I personally enjoy his collection and there are plenty of other LOTR fans that would as well.

Couldn't have said it better. Very nice HT setup. The only problem though...with all those great toys how do you ever watch a movie.

I have not purchased any of the other LOTR gift sets, but I may get this one. I will need to see some better pictures first.

Also, there will be a $10 rebate with the proof of purchase from the theatrical ROTK DVD.

Thanks. They are actually 14"x36" U.S. Inserts as opposed to the Australian Daybill.

As I mentioned before, I'll be surprised if sideshow can meet the demand for the gift set considering all the back orders of other LOTR collectibles as well as all the new licenses they are taking on. Perhaps they devised a way to automate the painting of the gift set environments as opposed to using Chinese labor to hand paint them.

Wow. Nice detailed pics.

What's that "Creating The Lord of The Rings Symphony" DVD doing there? Is it a bonus item in the Gift Set?
