if I had to pick a single movie as a favorite, this would be it. I'm really looking forward to this release.

Put off buying the original release for so long. Cant wait for this one. Its one of my all time fav films.

Damn! $45 for the 3-disc LE?! That's will be over $30 street price. What's it gonna have in addition to the regular 2-disc edition, besides the OST and the book?

they are giving more content than the 3 disk mystic river which most stores sold for 29.99

Great movie definately will be double dipping, listing my snapper copy on half.com today...So i read on dvdfile today that there was a bratty actor on set, what's the story there...

I don't like the new coverart. I really hoped that they would use the rain picture of Tim Robbins. However, I'm still going to buy this. I've been waiting forever. And thanks to WB for not using those horrible snapper cases.

I find it really unexcuseable that there was no way to include the Showtime special that highlighted some twenty minutes of deleted footage.

Itīs a British company which are releasing the R2UK 3-disc version. Maybe they donīt know about the Showtime special.

does anyone know if this will have a new audio and video transfer? i have the old, obviously, and wondering if i should get rid of it now or hold off...i don't think i care too much about the extras on the new one. the powerful movie is enough for me. if soemone could let me know. thanks.
