There wasn't an hour of footage in ETM. Probably 20 minutes or so, 30 tops.

I'm on the fence about this one because I have all the movies and Animatrix already. However, I can see myself moving over to the purchase side, as the release date gets closer.

Does anyone have a date yet?

Yeah that's really a kick in the teths!
Hate buying the exactly same discs again! Hopefully there will be some new stuff on these discs!

About how I expected it to look. ie. with the green Matrix code.

Now if those are individual keep cases inside, I'd like to see individual cover-art on each akin to the Star Wars set. If so, this would be one kick-ass set. Imagine consistant but different cover-art across all these discs. Could be awesome!

First of all, "teths"?

Second, read the list above. The set will include all new "Revisited" discs for each film.

And even if there's not all that much new to your liking, sell your old copies. I'm thinking of giving mine to my sister. She already has the original, but not the sequals.

Pelayu 07-02-04 04:40 PM

Looking forward to this one

Nah theres additional stuff on there too

Kant 07-02-04 05:19 PM

What's with the atitude Mike Lowrey? It says that the Revisited disc ( the original ) will be the same! I bought this already! The same goes for the animatrix...
It says;
The Matrix Revisited – Original version with behind-the-scenes footage

The Matrix Revisited (180 Minutes) - Same special features as previous release

And second: It was just to express how annoying it is that I have to buy this again.

I hope they'll be in individual thin keep cases (ie, Family Guy, Dead Like Me) and not something like the ridiculous Aliens Quadrilogy foldout set. I doubt this'll happen though.

Can't friggin wait. I'm glad I didn't get Revisited or Revolutions.

Can you guys even begin to imagine what kind of sickness of a set they will have in Japan?

how do you put smiley's in you posts?

fumanstan 07-02-04 08:55 PM

Amazing. No problems just giving mine away to a friend and picking this up. If everything holds true, its right up there with the Alien Quad as the most complete box set ever :)

jas722 07-02-04 09:47 PM

looks great, although would have loved a director's / writers commentary.

MovieFan999 07-02-04 10:58 PM

Do you think they will include the originial version of Reloaded. I would enjoy seein the extended version once but the movie wasn't that good and I imagine I will want to watch the originial version otherwise.

Novasonic 07-03-04 12:36 AM

I already have The Matrix, The Matrix Revisited, The Animatrix (2 disc w/ soundtrack), Matrix Reloaded, and Matrix Revolutions. I hate to have to rebuy some of that. I wish they would just release a 2 or 3 disc version of the first movie. I just have a feeling I'll be rebuying 60-70% of the same stuff I already have. Oh well, I'm sure most of you are in the same boat. One other thing, do you guys assume that they are using the same transfers for reloaded and revolutions as were used in the previous releases?

JuryDuty 07-03-04 12:43 AM

"Whoa."

Novasonic 07-03-04 12:53 AM

lol

oldiestmagoo 07-03-04 01:43 AM

I decided not to buy any Matrix release, until the boxed set came out at least. I will buy this no matter what the price is.

same here. The only thing I've bought so far is the first film and the animatrix.
