Yeah, from what I've heard of him in interviews he's a smart and interesting guy. I've never really been into his music, but I always like to hear what composers have to say about their score on a film.

Is this only one disk? I would think it should be at least 2. Also, will this release include a free movie ticket for the sequel?

It's a two disc release, and funnily enough, yeah it does.

The new Spiderman is the same as the old one with some Spiderman 2 stuff added to it. There is a Special 2 disc version of Resident evil due to come out. Sometime before the new movie.

He was just summarizing it so others wouldn't have to read it.

We've got a detailed comparison review of tomorrow's release of the Resident Evil Deluxe Edition vs the current US and UK Special Editions here.

Snippet:
I thought Resident Evil was a great little, relatively low budget, zombie movie with a big-budget look and a fantastic central heroine in Milla Jovovich. The three versions here have identical transfers and audio track quality, so the decision has to come down to whether or not you want the extra features. Still, it is not quite as simple as ‘this is the definitive version’ because the new Deluxe Edition turns out to be a mixture of new stuff and re-hashed old stuff, with some elements even missing from the previous editions. It clearly has the edge, most notably because of the extra commentary, the alternate ending (one of the best I have ever come across – as per Blade) and the clip from the upcoming sequel, but still – is it worth a re-buy?

Personally, I would have happily bought two copies of Resident Evil and would be satisfied with the extras on the new version, and if you have to choose one, it should probably be the new definitive edition – but most will be content to stick to the Special Edition, be it region 1 or 2.

How does the new version compare in AV quality to the Superbit?
