Two late seventies/early eighties horror classics will invade high-definition this September. High-Def Digest reports that in an early announcement to retailers, MGM/UA has announced Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Return of the Living Dead are coming to Blu-ray on September 14! Specs and details have yet to be revealed, but each release appears to be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with a suggested list price of $24.99. These BETTER be good transfers.

I wonder when they'll re-release Return Of The Living Dead Part II with the original soundtrack? Anyone have any ideas who we can bug about that?

I'm still discovering stuff on DVD that I never even knew they released. If they were in better financial shape, we'd probably be getting more than a few blus per quarter.
