I picked up a copy of the Appleseed steelbook with book at a local Bestbuy (Canada). All of the ones left had these cuts on the shrink wrap and some went into the steelbook. I had to settle for one with a minor nick on the steelbook itself..
I'm not sure if it's the same as the US one, but the lack of french might indicate that..
The book itself seem pretty thin.. I was expecting to be the size of a manga..

Been discussing it in the Cloverfield thread. There's definitely a steelbook for it from what I've heard, but the coverart and price are not confirmed.
If Future Shop or anywhere in Canada does not receive the "Sweeney Todd" steelbook or the "Cloverfield" steelbook, I would definitely be willing to pick up copies and trade them for Future Shop exclusives. Very interested in "Bee Movie" and "Ocean's Thirteen" if anyone is interested in doing this with me.

there was a paper saying that Warner Bros didn't ship the comic books with the DVD's and that they (WB) we're trying to rectify the problem . BB provided an 800 number to call to have the comic sent to you....
Quote is from another Steelbook forum.

I wonder why the Canada to US steelbook ratios? Last year it was a landside on Canada's end.. This year is starting to look the same also with Bee Movie and Battle Star.. It's a good sign breaking even with Beowulf and I Am Legend release across boarders..
I wonder why studios don't generally share the love and make steelbooks more widely available for more releases and on both side of the boarder..
I guess can't complain as I live in a place where I have the option to go down to US where there's a BestBuy and FYE to get my US steelbook fix if I need to..

Hi. If you're in the US, your in the same boat as other customers mentioned in the BestBuy thread..
If you're in Canada, you can still order it through the Bestbuy.ca website and for me, it's still available in the 4 Bestbuys in my area.. Though, it's $12 more than the US price for it..

Thanks for the FYI and link. I'll check BB after work to see if they received any additional copies with the booklet attached; if not; I'll call the phone number that Paul1957 provided.

Question for those who pre-ordered Sweeney Todd. Does your receipt make any mention of it being a steelbook? The guy told me it was a steelbook but it just says Sweeney Todd-WS on my receipt. The number below it is 400246651842. Every other time I've pre-ordered a steelbook, it mentions it so I'm not sure if the guy screwed up or not. Thanks in advance.
