http://i14.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/ba/dd/3f98_2.JPG this is how most of them look. if you notice the indentation on side, it doesn't look like our normal steelcases. i think it might be a complete opening tin like case. but not sure. |

Oh, cool, thanks for the help. I guess I didn't find it because it doesn't have "Steelbook" in the listing. I've noticed the same thing with "Boondock Saints" --- there are tons of listings of the special edition in a metal case on eBay, but literally none of them say "Steelbook." It's really a Steelbook, right? I want to buy it.
Also, picked up "Transformers" last night from FYE. Last one they had. The Autobot (Protect) edition. Really wanted Decepticon (Destroy) but couldn't find one anywhere. Which is rarer? If anybody is in the opposite position and is interested in trading, let me know. Also, has anybody noticed that they don't have these listed on DVD Aficionado? How can that be fixed? My Steelbook collection right now is very small, but I'm looking to improve it. I have: - "The Departed" (Best Buy) - "Live Free Or Die Hard" (Best Buy) - "Transformers" (Autobot) (FYE) Steelbooks in general are very cool to me, but I won't go out of my way to buy any where the packaging mimics the original. Editions like "The Departed," "Transformers," "Ratatouie," etc. that have a very unique cover design that you can't find anywhere else are what make Steelbook editions so awesome. |
My suggestion will be especially if you have a small DVD collection is to transfer from DVD Aficionado to DVD Spot. I found that ever since they updated their software and site, that DVD Aficionado has fallen behind in updating the different editions of new DVD releases. I much prefer using DVD Spot now.

Hi Scott,
Correction on The Scary Movie Collection in Canada It is not a Futureshop Exclusive. |
PrideFC 2000GP...is this a videogame or actual movie because i can't find it anywhere in imdb? if videogame i will take it off the list as the list is primarily for movie/tv/documentary releases.
|
Does anyone know if they sell or make plastic protective sleeves for Steelbook cases?
I wonder if a comic book store might have something that might work? |

A little help - Please
scott1598,
Which sleeve part number did you order? I'm thinking of ordering part number SDVDR with the resealable flap. 100@$19.10 I hope the shipping cost is not too high. I had to send them an E-mail for a shipping quote. |

Unbelievable
A newbie just bid $63.99 for a 3-Disc Death Proof Steelbook.
Am I missing something here. What's so special about this Best Buy Exclusive. |
