D'oh - missed out on that one.

I don't suppose anyone else has a spare replacement box? Or knows how I can get one to the UK?

My Season 7 set is here now so Season 6 looks even odder than it did before!

Cheers.

I procrastinated on this deal, sent my check in December (forgot when exactly) and received my box yesterday. It's cool and all, but why is the top left open with no covering? Dust can get in now unless you have a shelf that's flush to the top.

EDIT: Oops, guess I should have read the thread before posting. Anyway, yeah, having the top open sucks, I'll have to figure out a way to cover it from dust because I still like it better than the Homer head and it matches up with Season 7's box.

Does anyone have an extra replacement box they'd be willing to give up or sell for a small price? I still need one, and can't find my original receipt... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't got my replacement box yet, but I have to say that the head is good for shipping and moving. That replacement box looks flimsy. The digipak is very delicate, and the plastic head protects it very nicely. I've just moved back stateside from Eurupe, and I stuck the set in a checked suitcase and it was fine. The same, I'm sure, could not be said if it had been in the replacement box.

That being said, the head is impractical for day-to-day use.

Still need help? You only need one of these don't you?
- Original sales receipt
or
- The 800# insert you found in the box
or
- The original proof of purchase on the back of the episode guide booklet

And I have the 800# insert and the proof of purchase.

If you'd like one let me know - but I may want help getting replacement box ordered for myself in the UK!!!

I just reeread this whole thread and I was curious, because now that I've finally caught up in my Simpsons sets, to where I'm finally ready to buy season 6.

So I was wondering if any Canadians out there had taken advantage of this deal, and if so, did you get a bilingual version of the cover or anything stupid like that? I know The Simpsons season 5 and 7 sets (I imagine 8 will be the same when it comes out) were good about having only a bilingual slipcase that you could just throw away with the proper box underneath.

Yes, I know I'm being extremely anal about this, but hey, that was one of the selections on the box replacement website after all.

Bumping a really old thread in hopes that there's still a way to get a replacement box. Really late to the party on this one...

Props to you for searching first.

I can give you the phone number for the replacement program.. I have it in my original set at home. I think it's still active.

Thanks, I tried the number that was in my box (1-800-223-2369) but it appears to be disconnected. And the alternative, "simpsonsbox.com" makes no mention of replacements and seems to now be run by someone other than Fox.

i would assume that since you can now purchase the standard box in stores, they aren't offering replacements to those who purchased the head version previously...
