Funny, I was thinking just the opposite.

I think any commentaries would be more interesting if one heard some of the inside politics of the cast, especially when dealing with the money.

Do you have a source for this? I don't remember reading about a $100 per set price tag.

Will probably wait for the series to kick into high gear before I buy the DVDs. The first couple seasons weren't that funny. But once Kramer grew sideburns the series really took off!

Either that or it's a quote from the Bizzaro Jerry.

Where did you get that info from?

If that's true, he's a very, very, bad man.

He was being sarcastic. See above - this is explained several times.

This used to be one of the DVD sets I wanted the most, but now that I have a tivo, I catch enough of Seinfeld that I'm not sure I will buy the sets unless the pricing is attractive.

Not to get off-topic, but TiVo has seriously diminished my DVD-watching. DVD certainly has MUCH better quality and it's something you can keep, but with my TiVo recording stuff all the time, I don't find myself with enough time to watch too many of my DVDs.

Still, gotta get Seinfeld!
