I bet they were doing some commentaries and behind the scenes stuff for the set and realized, hey, this looks kind of stupid with just Jerry & Kramer.

Jerry doesnt desearve all that money. Even tho the show as called seinfeld he wasnt the main attaction of the show. I actually found his character annoying. I like all the others tho. Cant wait for the set. They better pay them everything they desearve.

A show about only "Jerry Seinfeld" (the character) would be horrific beyond belief. It's his wacky mooching neighbor, sleazy friend, and bitchy ex-girlfriend that made the show great.

I was hoping Jason Alexander would give in and participate.

I can't imagine that Seinfeld will be on the commentary with the rest of them, though. It seems like there's some bad blood over the financial situation.

It's not like Jerry earned so much money, just because it was about him. The fact that he created, and executive produced it just plays a little into that equation

From TVShowsonDVD.com:
...Just a reminder - the set should be out around Christmas, 2004 (a specific date isn't known at this time).

Definately looking forward to this one. It is ashame that the cast isn't "connected" in real life (like say, the Friends cast), but at least they will all participate in this venture.

So looking at how greedy Seinfeld was too not include the other 3 cast members who I think made the show what it is just as much as he did, all four deserve the same credit, and I know since Jerry produced it he obviously gets more, but him getting over a billion in royalties while the other 3 get less than a quarter of a Million! thats DUH!!
So now Jerry is going to charge us a $100.00 bucks per season regardless of how many episodes are on a season.
This will be the most expensice DVD series to come...Folks.

Very happy for the cast and happy to be getting the set. Even though I somehow manage to watch this show 2 or 3 times a day in syndication, I'll still gladly pick this up on the first day. What is the #1 selling TV set so far? Any bets on how quickly "Seinfeld" will beat it?

HOLY SHIT!
