Worst Bonus Material Ever
I rented The Others not so long ago, enjoyed the movie enough, went to watch the extra materials.
UGH! How much info do they really need to pass on to the viewer about the complexity of creating DIGITAL FOG! I appreciate the Supplements, the reason I used to buy Laserdisc, but c'mon, some things just don't require that much info. They seemed to really be stretching this one thin.
Second worst: Pitch Black Rave Party. No thanks.
I dont own everything, so what was the worst, extras ever included on your disc?

Its not on DVD, but my favorite is on the Criterion Collection CAV Laserdisc of the unrated Robocop.
The set was originally planned as a 3-disc set, packed with extras. Trouble seemed to go on with the Studio, and the set was cut back to 2 discs, with not a huge amount of extras.
With the extra space, we were treated to "Robocop in 5 minutes" - the screen filled with about 12 small screens, each playing a chunk of the film in fast forward. Together these small clips played the whole film. What was it for? God only knows.

How about the ones that list "Special Packaging" as bonus features? I saw an ad in EW in November promoting 4 new special editions. I don't remember the films, or the studio that was marketing these discs, but all four had "Special Packaging" listed as a feature.

Not really fair to trash I guess because I was just happy to see it get a R1 DVD release, but the Bad Taste SE has to be the biggest waste of two discs I ever saw. A featurette(with granted, some cool early Jackson) and some trailers on the second disc were all that was to be found. Absolutely no way that couldn't be on one disc.

But you're right - "Exclusive Music Performance by top girl band PLAY with their rendition of "It's a Hard Knock Life"; Interactive Sing-Along Features; Set-Top Games." It all sounds like complete crap.

If I am not mistaken,, what Black Hawke Down orig came out, there were commericals like "Go buy BHD and its LOADED DVD packed full of extras" when it was complely barebones as coule be (trailor only I believe). Everyone in the Know of DVDs knew a better/bigger version was soon to come out...
