Hey, which one is it where Ren gets driven insane by Stimpy's fan club? My favorite episode ever, totally twisted -- "These hands..."

It looks like all the spumco episodes are on this set except an unaired one. I predict that another set will come a long in the not so distant future which will include it and lots of other goodies. Ugh! I can't decide if I should go for it now or wait.

Spümcø produced episodes-
'Big House Blues'(Pilot)
'Stimpy's Big Day'/'The Big Shot'
'Robin Hoek'
'Nurse Stimpy'
'Space Madness'
'The Boy Who Cried Rat'
'The Littlest Giant'
'Firedogs'
'Marooned'
'A Cartoon: Untamed World'
'Black Hole'
'Stimpy's Invention'
'Man's Best Friend'(Unaired)
'Powdered Toast Man'
'Ren's Toothache'
'In The Army'
'Out West'
'Rubber Nipple Salesman'

Episodes Started at Spümcø and finished at Games Animations-
-'Dog Show'
-'Sven Hoek'
-'Haunted House'
-'A Visit to Anthony'
-'Big Baby Scam'
-'Stimpy's First Fart'
_ (Retitled 'Son of Stimpy' by Games)
-'Fake Dad'
-'Stimpy's Fan Club'
-'Monkey See, Monkey Don't'
-'Mad Dog Hoek'
-'Royal Canadien Kilted_
_ Yaksmen'
-'The Cat That Laid The Golden
_ Hairball'
-'The Great Outdoors'

Meant to ask, is "Stimpy's Fan Club" included on this set? I didn't see it listed but was thinking it might be listed on a different name or somesuch. That would be the only 'must have' for me not included

Excellant find!

But I fail to see the reason for your disdain of the new episodes.

Didn't see it in there, but it was listed as being on the LD.

My reason is better. Cuz they SUCK! (not the ones airing now the ones that were aired before)

These are the best. The newer ones on (Spike TV) are ok though.

I'm confused. How many episodes are actually here? I'm guessing the "14 cartoons" is including the shorts such as "log" which are just part of the episodes...

I recall 13 episodes and number 13 was Son of Stimpy. The "log" and "PTM" commercials were just extras.

This backorder business is pissing me off, too. How could they not anticipate the huge response a Ren and Stimpy DVD set was going to garner?

Dude - people, relax. You've waited 10 years, what's another couple of weeks?

I'd been hoping they would do a "John K only" release of this series. Call it "classics" or something to save face. Too bad.

For what I can tell, all the contents of this set comes from the John Kricfalusi years (1991-2).

I thought the golden rule was to NOT buy best off type DVDs!

I didnt like to watch it after Billy did the voices for both characters...just wasn't the same

Indeed.

I am amazed at Billy's voice talent, but he just wasnt very good at being Ren.

So has anyone who ordered this actually received it yet? Curious to hear how it is.

They haven't shipped yet. It looks like the 9/15 date was a little ambitious...
