I'm surprised that Fox didn't put any parental warning about the language on the commentary (they put a warning on the family guy dvd)
I didn't know Fox put a language disclaimer on the Family Guy. Seems weird considering all the talk about how that commentary was edited.

As for Daredevil it was just the generic "views that don't represent" blah blah blah disclaimer. There was liberal use of the F bomb in the second disc as well.

You think that scene with Matt driving (or at least trying to drive) a car will appear in the DC?

I've been wondering that as well. There's been talk that the film was originally made with an R in mind and was to feature hardcore violence and nudity. Then Spider-Man became a hit and FOX threw more money at this picture with the condition that it get a kid-friendly PG-13. Next think you know, after the film was cut down to make it as fast paced as possible, they had to cut it four times just to get a PG-13.

But before Garner fans break out the vaseline, everytime the director has talked about the cut nudity, his comments have been in reference to Murdock investigating a case of a client of his (portrayed by Coolio) accused of murder. So my guess is strip club or some guy (other than Matt) screwing his girl(s).

The director also mentioned he added a ton of violence to his DC. I hope that's more than hyperbole cos, though this film has a hard edge, it certainly shows that it's holding back (especially in the bar fight).

I wonder if the DC will include deleted scenes since there were scenes that were either re-shot (the bar fight) or removed completely ("you're bodyguard?"/"how will I find you?") in favour of new scenes.

Dont hold your breath, if you look back at history, you see all these promises Hollywood makes before the final box office result of a film, like "A hit, a sequel will be made" "a spin off movie will be made, already did a pay or play with so and so" and guess what, it is NEVER Made! And if it is made, it is usualy a direct to video or cable, with a completely different actor (Remember DARKMAN promises?)

Thanks for bringing back a painful memory, man.

But I understand where you're coming from. I just hope this isn't the case here because Garner really impressed me in Daredevil and I hope the sequel/spin-off is made with her as the title character and gets a theatrical release.

there is morte hope for an Elektra movie because JG's movie career is still in its "lift off" phase. They love to cash in on a rising star.
