Same here. I pass on this one. They might come out with T Two and Half before T3 comes out. It's never ending edition.
Totally passed on this.
I didn't purchase this DVD either because the UE was sufficient enough for me with the overall quality of the disc. so buying the EE version was not a necessity. I never view the commentaries, or other special features for that matter due to the lack of time. I have way too many other movies to view, than to spend numerous of hours watching tons and tons of extras, and commentaries.
I passes on the EE too. The UE is fine by me.
I didnt think the movie was great enough to own any dvd of it.
Not enough incentive for me to upgrade. I'm happy enough with the UE.
I have the UE, didn't see a need to buy this again. I think the next time I will upgrade this movie is when it gets on blue laser dvd.
Not me. Maybe from Columbia House one day.
I passed. Already had a tin case with the UE. This new edition is fairly silly, IMHO. A 'high definition' version of the movie to play on your PC? Nice.... unless you've got a brand new HTPC, this little gimmick is a total waste of space on a 17" or even 20" monitor.
I think I'll just wait until the 4th or 5th edition of this movie comes out, I'm sure there will be more down the road! |
The UE was good enough for me, I don't need no stinking metal case.
Well I sold my EE on eBay after realizing it wasn't an upgrade at all...except the commentary which was pretty good.
Sold my used, but mint, one on eBay for like $20, making $5 off the original purchase. Beautiful :D |
me either, but then I haven't owned any edition of any of the T' films...
I didn't buy it either. I have the "limited" UE with the metal case and I'm happy with it.
I didn't buy it. I have the UE and that is good enough for me.
UE more than good enough for me, and I thought the so-called improvement in image quality was very minor and not worth sacrificing for the DTS track, all those lovely extras, and the various cuts of the movie that you get on the UE.
Well ... I purchased the EE and am very happy with it.
I own a 96" FPTV system and let me tell you that the improved PQ over the UE is more than worth the additional $15 that I shelled out for this release. (The edge enhancement on the UE release is horrendous on at least half-a-dozen or so scenes; all those scenes look great on the Extreme Edition.) The James Cameron commentary track is also fantastic! I'm keeping the UE, too, for the extras! (What can I tell you? The Terminator movies are in my Top 10 movies of all time list!) |
I didn't even consider buying it. I have the UE and the only thing I'd like is to swap my single, double-sided DVD-18 for two one sided discs.
I remember when the UE was first released, everybody was going ga-ga over this "new" technology of DVD-18. Oooh, 2 discs superglued back-to-back... ooooh the technology! |
I haven't even bothered to watch my UE that I have had for who knows how long... I looked at the EE and noticed the crappy metal case and overly high price and passed (for now at least).
I passed too. UE is good enough for me.
I passed on it... I'm happy with the UE.
your loss...
the film with text and audio commentary is highly entertaining. so much information... |
I passed as well.
I got it.
For $10 through Columbia House, how could you say no? |
Passed on it also. I could care less about extras. The original release is fine with me.
Passed on EE... UE Tin is good enough for me :)
