Who didn't buy the new Terminator 2 set?

As a proud owner of the original tin case of the Terminator 2 'Ultimate Edition' I passed on the Extreme Edition. I don't own a Hi-Def TV and I'm not too interested in what Jimmy C has to say about the film. So, I passed on this one. What about you?

MvRojo 06-06-03 01:20 PM

I decided to as well.

RobCA 06-06-03 01:21 PM

Same here.

Rob

Johnny Zhivago 06-06-03 01:30 PM

Yo. No interest.

Of course, I passed on the UE as well... ;)

Copenhagen 06-06-03 01:32 PM

I passed on it.

deepmilk 06-06-03 01:38 PM

I've no interest in buying it either.

Leechboy 06-06-03 01:38 PM

I was going to pass on it but once I saw how cool the metal case looked I had to buy it.

HydroX2 06-06-03 01:39 PM

Passed on it, UE is good enough for me.

mlemmond 06-06-03 01:40 PM

I have the UE so I passed on the EE. I also passed on the F&F "Tricked Out Edition" I'm tired of studios putting out crap like this when they are so many other things that deserve to be released or re-released.

Goat3001 06-06-03 01:41 PM

Passed on it too. I'm happy with the UE.

Zodo 06-06-03 01:43 PM

I'm happy with me UE, so i passed.
I would like to rent it though, just to hear the commentary.

PixyJunket 06-06-03 01:44 PM

I haven't bought any of them.

Class316 06-06-03 01:44 PM

I have the UE tin case flipper. Won't get the EE (but I wish I had the 2-disc tin).

RichDB10 06-06-03 01:47 PM

I've mentioned it before... but i'm not a great fan of Terminator 2 and will therefore NEVER own any edition no matter what 'gimmicks' they use to convince me into a purchase.

On the other hand i think the first Terminator is a great film and would consider any future re-releases :D (granted, it's a damn fine DVD to begin with)

Jamers 06-06-03 01:51 PM

Happy with my 2 disc UE edition. Will pass on EE

chanster 06-06-03 01:51 PM

Didn't buy the EE.

UE is great...no reason to spend $15 bucks on a movie I already own

marty888 06-06-03 01:54 PM

Enough already ..... the UE is just fine.

Ginwen 06-06-03 01:55 PM

Passed. Since I have the original (which was free) and the UE, and haven't watched either yet (haven't even opened the UE, since when I got it I wasn't sure if I'd keep it)--I don't need a third one to sit unwatched on my shelf.

Mourn 06-06-03 01:57 PM

Nope, gotta draw a line somewhere.

That and my tv sucks so the improved picture won't matter much to me.

Ditto!

C Roberts 06-06-03 02:06 PM

I passed on it as well. I have the UE, which I've always been satisfied with, and I don't have HDTV yet and my PC is only 1.6ghz.

ArchibaldTuttle 06-06-03 02:13 PM

I am a poor college student, but if I did have money to burn, I would probably get this release, I will have it one day, unless the hyper edition comes out before that day

billy9215 06-06-03 02:18 PM

For suckers only, spend your money somewhere else....

F For Fake 06-06-03 02:20 PM

Nope. UE has everything I need. I don't really get around to listening to commentaries much these days, and the transfer/sound on the UE is good enough for my setup.

Tarantino 06-06-03 02:31 PM

I got it, but only because I didn't have the UE
