I just signed up to agree with the guy that mentioned "Primer" and "Calvaire"... and I'm on dial up right now, that should tell you something.

Hard Eight wiht Philip Baker Hall and John C. Reily. Paul Thomas Anderson's first movie, if your a fan of his but haven't seen hard eight yet, you really ought to.

I vote for Running Scared (2006). Not necessarily a great film, but definately entertaining. Paul Walker is very tolerable.

Pick any film by Alex de la Iglesia...
newest one is "The Perfect Crime"....
and try "Common Wealth".....
Two totally wacky movies from an imaginatively original Spanish filmaker.
Also, "the Nest" by Florent E Siri is worth watching...

Primer was a good film.

One of my favorite films from last year, I think it ended up #3 on my Top 10. For once, college-aged characters who are articulate and intelligent. Great dialogue and very humorous.
