If CH accepts applicants with the selections they made on their application I don't think CH can then say "yeah, we accepted you into our club for Bond V1 & 2 but we're not going to give them to you. Chose something else." If CH doesn't like the enrollment selections you make they usually send a letter saying "one or more of the enrollment selections are not available." At which point you have to resubmit your application. In these cases you do not get the "Welcome to the Club" e-mail like so many here have gotten. This whole raincheck thing doesn't sound very likely.

Got approved for ST:ToS 1 & 2 using HDL. First time I've been able to get an approval to this club in 6+ tries. Nice!

I tried to enroll on January 15th with the usual 2/4 deal, orderingCSI: S3 and Outer Limits S1, but the application vanished into the ozone. Tried again yesterday using HDL (1/20) and ordered Star Trek: TOS, S1 & S2 and got my acceptance e-mail today! This rocks!

Well, I finished my first one with CSI 1+2 and Without a Trace for fulfillment. Cancelled a couple days ago and just signed up for ST:TNG 5+6. Will update if it pans out.

Star Trek TOS Season 3 is not currently available. CH took about two months after the release date before they added Seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 came out in the middle of December, so I would imagine that it will be available next month.

Today I received an approval email for an account that included Star Trek: TOS Season 2. I'm not going to get too excited until it arrives in the mail, however.

Also, just to let people know...

I recently had another account where I selected the Homicide: Season 5 set. I received in the mail Seasons 1&2 instead. If you look at Columbia House's site, it says Season 5, but the picture shows 1&2. I had hoped they would ship 5, but I was wrong.

Rather than telling CH that they sent me the wrong set, I just called them and told them that Homicide:Season 5 wasn't included in the box. I was being honest!!! I did this because if I told them that they sent me the wrong one, they'd make me send the wrong one back before they sent me the correct one. This way, they already shipped me Season 5, and I'll just mail them back Seasons 1&2 when 5 arrives, since I am actually a fairly honest customer!

I ordered the Season 5 set, in hopes I'd get seasons 1&2 and also ordered Season 3. The CH site shows the Season 5 as "awaiting stock", and doesn't even mention Season 3 that I ordered. Hope I end up with Seasons 1,2 & 3.

If you get Season 5, maybe we could just trade?!

I am trying the method posted of forcing the Star Trek TOS S1 and S2 into my cart, but when I go to check out I get errors that I haven't filled out the fields on the application (but I actually have) and it says enter a valid payment type, but there is no payment input field. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using Firefox by any chance? I ran into a similar problem when recently doing a regular DVD club membership using Firefox. I tried it again using Internet Explorer and had no problems. I just did a TV Club membership last night and I switched over to IE when I first started the process and it worked fine.

Well well, color me surprised. I had a notion that my apps weren't going through because I hadn't paid for my enrollments yet on my newly-opened regular account (just got the DVDs a week ago), so I paid with a credit card online. Lo and behold, this morning a temp charge appears on the 3rd app I had made recently to the TV club -- the one for Star Trek TOS 1 & 2, NOT Dick Van Dyke. In other words . . . well I guess you can see what I'm getting at. CH is really a trip.

Applied using HDL on 1/20 for Babylon 5 Seasons 4 and 5 and received the approval email a few moments ago. I applied a few hours later for another HDL account using ST:TOS 1&2. Have not received that approval as of yet, hopefully later today.

I'm curious how long it take to receive your DVDs through CH. I live in California and ordered two Stargate seasons. They shipped out on the 19th. Customer service said it could take up to 1 month to recieve them. What are most peoples' experiences? Does it take a month? Anyone from California with experiences to comment on?

Thanks.

I have followed the instructions to a T so far with no luck getting the other sets in. (ok i have figured it out now was using wrong numbers for sets)

I believe when you order online your enrollment package comes priority mail atleast that has been my experience in the past. maybe it is changed now i dunno.

Got my approval email this afternoon. Glad I didn't buy the Star Trek series before! Now, about the Avengers and Monty Python. . . .

Indeed I was. I just tried using Internet Explorer and it worked, thanks. Now the wait begins.

I'm up here in Oregon, and I usually get CH packages in around 10 business days. CH uses media mail.
