Please note that the "item ID" is NOT the catalog number. Good luck.

Has anyone tried this with the Next Generation sets?
I need 3-7, and this would be a great way to get them.
I signed up for Sliders and Battlestar Galactica. If that order goes through, I'll try with the ST:TNG sets.

HJ6 Approval
My application using the HJ6 code was just approved. I sent it in Saturday and just got approval late last night. My 2 selections were All Creatures Great and Small Series 3 & 4 -- these are not available through the normal web site so I had to use the cut & paste item ID method to get it to work. So, here's another successful item ID cut & paste story. Thanks to bhauge for the selecting unavailable item method and thanks to Bad Hat Harry for the HJ6 code.

apparently you dont only have to order tv shows. I placed an order on tuesday for The James Bond Collection Vol 1 and Taken and got approved today. I guess this means that you can get anything on columbiahouse's official site.

Tried opening one account on the 13th and 19th and I still haven't received any emails regarding approval. Is the TV Edition club seperate from the regular dvd club (e.g. can you have 2 of both?)

Well, I've got $1 "pending" charges on *3* credit cards, one going back to 1/11. They've all appeared shortly after one of these applications, including one today for the 1st two seasons of Star Trek. (The others are both for Dick Van Dyke sets 1 & 2.)
I have one regular DVD account open right now, but I don't really see any of these going through. When Mine go through, the full charge usually appears within about 36 hours of the app. After that, I'm pretty sure it's lost/ignored.

Now, I've had TWO "we've received your application and will review it and let you know if you have been accepted" letters that were never followed by an acceptance letter OR enrollment package. So, it has been my experience over the years that once the acceptance letter has come the enrollment DVDs will be arriving shortly.
I understand your concern about the shipping notification e-mail for the enrollment package, but, as I said above, it just doesn't make sense for CH to approve so many people and then not send them the enrollment package. When/If I get my shipment notification e-mail I will post here.

My point was simply that saying "I was approved for Bond V1" especially since that isn't even a TV set, does not mean that it will show in the mail. A raincheck could show instead.

So I tried cut-and-paste with codes from this thread without success; are those codes no longer valid?
I hate being a "me too", but could someone determine if any of the Mystery Science Theater or Red Dwarf sets are still available? Thanks.

Yeah, I thought about it being vague...
well, I went to CH with one of my accounts to grab the ID number. tried plugging it in ala bhague's instructions. nada. didn't even add it.
HOWEVER...when I attempted to do that with Homicide s4 [s5 IIRC is on the site], it let me. THOUGH...the website only showed ONE selection [it didn't specify which season], so I had to call on Tuesday. when I spoke to the CSR, he said he fixed it. yesterday when I checked it, s5 was on the site saying they were going to charge me $87. the first CSR told me there'd be a bill and to just ignore it since they were a part of my selections, but when I saw that I imagined CH messing up my checking account by charging $87. so I called back and the third CSR straightened everything out.
