I have been good with this "creative" way once to same address for TOS 1 and 2, and cant remember if this address [email protected] is one that seems to be a successfull attempt. Can anyone verify?

That's the email address that someone a couple of pages back reported as being the one from an account that was in limbo.

Yes and no. I have had success in 3 out of 5 applications....all of which I received my response back from that address.

A warning for anyone who's thinking about getting The Outer Limits Season sets:

Both sets are currently out of stock. What happened to me is that it was listed as "awaiting stock" for about a week and a half, and then went to "Dropped - due to policy". I then received a certificate in the mail - good for a regular DVD title, no sets!! I called to get it resolved, and I had a very, very tough time getting them to give me another set. Needless to say, most of the CH reps don't even understand the logic behind the TV DVD club.

Did an HDL enroll recently, for

I Love Lucy: Season 1
Dick Van Dyke: Season 3

I just completed my fulfillment today with:

Jetsons, complete season 1
Longtime Companion
Airplane
Sweet Charity

I used code 801053 for 10% off of everything, and the three $14.95 titles ended up being $25 for the three and counted as one fulfillment (actually, I'm not sure all three of those were meant to count as 3-for 25, but the CSR made it work out for me).

My fulfillment total was $47.68 (free shipping, but CA sales tax)...and I told the CSR about code 801050, so he also gave me an extra $10 in fun cash. It seems they can do that in addition to the other code, because the fun cash code isn't one you receive via e-mail (you can only use one of those).

This is all going so well, I opened up still another HDL (which was just approved) for
I Love Lucy, Season 3 and
Monty Python megaset

This is my fourth HDL TV enrollment (two different addresses)...I don't know if this means I'm going to hell, but my budget sure is.

Mikael79,

I had the same letter today about Keeping Up Appearances: Hyacinth in Full Bloom being out of stock, and I got the single DVD raincheck. Funny thing is this was not a creative enrollment -- it's on the freakin front page of the TV club bestsellers. I haven't called yet, what # did you call?

I called 1-800-262-2001. The title that I had ordered was normally available as well, but they will still give you a very, very tough time. My best advice is to just basically ask for a supervisor right away.

My 2 account approvals came from [email protected] as well, but all 7 of my "Thank you for your application" emails have come from [email protected] whether they were eventually approved or indefinitely stuck in limbo.

I believe that people were trying to determine whether you could tell whether you would be approved or not based on where the thank you email came from. I would say that you can't.

I just placed an order to fulfill my agreement on my first account. I ordered 3 dvds total. I got free shipping for buying at least 3 dvds. I used the webdvd link to get $5 off my first order. And, I made sure to get 2 $19.95 dvds to meet the agreement for purchasing 2 regular-priced dvds within a year.

Here's the order:

Title Price Description Selection #

Get Shorty Collector's Edition (Pre-Order) $19.95 Pre-order Price 3542800
Glory Special Edition $8.95 Sale Price ($6.00 off) 2448900
Heat Special Edition (Pre-Order) $19.95 Pre-order Price 3475100

Average DVD Price for this order, excluding sets: $14.62

$5 Discount for first time web order -$5.00

Subtotal $43.85
Shipping & Processing $0.00
Tax $3.18

Total $47.03
Now, when it goes to the final page, in which it shows the complete order. It doesn't show a "-$5 coupon" in the subtotal area. Instead, it shows that they charged me -$5 less for Get Shorty: CE.

Does that prevent me from getting that second dvd at regular price now?? That would piss me off, if that's the case. Because, before I clicked the "confirm" button, it shows the coupon in the subtotal region. Had it shown up as -$5 off one of the regularly priced $19.95 dvds, I wouldn't have used it.

Now, I may be concerned over nothing at all (which is why I need to ask the CH regulars on this forum for their feedback), but if this does mean that I only met 1 of my required dvd purchases now, then why couldn't they have taken $5 off Glory: SE? (I'd call them to express my concern on this, and see what they can do.)

I just placed the order, and the sale is pending (I guess, until the payment clears), so it doesn't show that the order has been placed yet. I received the order email, but it doesn't show it pending yet on my account page.

I'm sure I'll find the answer soon enough, but if I can find an answer now, I'd like that.

Thanks in advance for any answers to my situation.

You'll be fine. This is the normal way that CH shows the webdvd discount. It won't affect the title counting as a fulfillment.

No code. Just log in through columbiahouse.com/webdvd and it'll show after you add $35 worth to your cart.

I applied February 1, got approved February 3 (I used the link on the first page, and I paid 9.95, obligation to buy two more, so I guess that's HDL).

I didn't do any creative titles--I've wanted the two Monkees sets for a while, but always thought they were overpriced ($50+ apiece), so I just picked those.

Nice deal, thanks!

Edit:
Here's the link I used. Since it's not the first one in that first post, I found it a bit confusing, but I used this one and it worked out.

Just checked the mail, and the Creative order I did under my Mom's name came. I ordered Homicide: Life On The Streets Seasons 4 & 5. I wish CH had Season 6 on their site. I'm just glad at got Seasons 1-5 at such good prices.

I have a question regarding how CH issues accounts. I already have two TV-Club accounts with HDL (both are currently being fulfilled as well). Before this excellent offer disappears, I want to sign up another time or two.

I am wondering what I can do to obtain more than 2 simultaneous accounts. For example, if I have an enrollment shipped to my GF, can I still use my credit card? Or would it work if I used my same name and credit card, but used my work address (which hopefully our shipping department would be okay with)?

Thank you for any advice you might be able to provide.
